Positive: It was a nice change to have an entire house to myself, while out of town. The grounds were obviously new—the concrete was WHITE and I was able to pull right up in front of the front door.
Negative: The ladder wasn’t a huge deal for me but it could easily be for other guests. It is exactly like the one used to get up into an attic, except the steps are aluminum. I wish the ladder had a rail for the left side since you can reach the railing in the bedroom on the right side.
Summary: Extremely comfortable and nicely appointed guest accommodation.
