Best part is the LOCATION - in the amazing community of North Falmouth... quiet streets, perfect for the kiddos to scoot around, and of course, walk to the private New Silver Beach, with all its amazing amenities! Boating, tennis courts, playground, and the historic Tea Room for lunch (and weekend breakfast). There are even kids activities and community events to choose from. Calm waters are perfect for little ones and no fear of fins (check those sharktivity apps!). North Falmouth is a hidden gem: situated just 15 minutes from the Bourne bridge, 10 minutes from bustling Falmouth center, and 2 minutes from Old Silver Beach.
Back at the house, enjoy the brand new outdoor shower, expansive yard, and big back deck. The shed aka the "boat house" has all the inflatables your crew could ever need, plus beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach buggy + boogie boards.
Inside, every room has a relaxed, cozy feel to it that makes you want to kick back on your beach vacation. Open concept living area/kitchen/dining space at the center of the house. Squashy sectional couch and 55'' TV, perfect for movie nights. Plenty of board games and a basket full of kids toys stored nearby to break out when needed. Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, new stove, toaster oven, and everything you need to whip up family dinners. Bar seating for 4 and additional dining seating for up to 6.
2 bedrooms on the first floor, near the full bathroom. ''Teen Bedroom'' has a daybed (twin mattress) with trundle bed underneath (twin mattress), wall hooks and large drawers for storage. ''Grandma's Room'' has a Queen-sized bed, closet, seating, and faces the front of the house for lots of light. The full bathroom has shower/tub combo, linen closet, new flooring and new paint.
Additional 2 bedrooms upstairs with a half bathroom. ''Kids Bunk Room'' is HUGE with brand new hardwood flooring, 3 twin beds, 1 Double bed, Nightstands for all and a Large Closet, plus big comfy chair for hanging. ''Parent's Room'' is right across the hall, and is also very large running front to back of the house. Queen bed, Dresser, Closet, Large Chair and a Half, Nightstands and TV w/ Roku.
Large half bathroom upstairs has new flooring and storage.
The basement has laundry and a full-sized Ping Pong table - perfect for those rainy days! Additional bamboo couch seating, rec room style.
Mini split ACs throughout the home (including every bedroom). Electric Car charger at the side of the home.
Large front and side yards - plenty of space for the kids to run around or for the adults to play a lawn game - pick one from our shed!

Summary: Overall this was a great spot to stay. The rooms were spacious and as described and the deck was a lovely spot for dinner in. The floor is slippery for older dogs fyi- and the stairs to upstairs are steep for older guests. Unfortunately no wine opener, and no colander in kitchen- and I was fine with bringing sheets and linens but the bed I stayed in had no mattress pad which grossed me out a bit.

Summary: Great location! Owner very responsive to a few issues. Listing for two twins in one room was actually daybed with trundle and not suitable for most adults.

Summary: The house is in great walking distance to the beach in a cute little community. It seemed like most people knew each other and either lived there year round or summer there every year. The house itself was cute and clean. However it is old and while some updating has been done I would say more work will be done in the off season. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need and the beach supplies were great. Y biggest feedback would be regarding the doors. Some of them do not close because they get stuck on the flooring that was put in (the bottoms need to be shaved) and window treatments are needed in the bathrooms and to be updated in the bedrooms to be light blocking. Other than that it was a fine summer rental property that afforded many of the comforts one would like in a rental away from home.
