Summary: We have stayed several times visiting our son at school. Private, beautiful view with spacious accommodations for family. We always enjoy our visits! The host is an excellent communicator, easy check-in process, and clean.

Summary: Awesome stay! House was clean and well appointed but we came for the yard and water! Yard is huge with a gentile slope down to the water. Massive pine trees give great shade. The beach area is awesome. Wide enough to put out pop ups and hang out on the sand. We were able to put in a couple john boats into the water without much issue. Water is as great to swim in and the bottom was relatively sandy.

Summary: This home is spacious, lovingly decorated, and in the most beautiful location. The pictures do not do it justice. It was the perfect place to gather as a family and relax. The host was really helpful and answered all our questions. We saw lots of birds, and even a horseshoe crab at the edge of the water. We watched the sky and water change as the sun rose and set. This was a completely magical weekend. When you’re first coming to the house to check in, do be aware that the turnoff from the main road is a bit steep, and the road to the house is gravel. We didn’t have any problems, but it’s a good idea to drive with care. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Summary: My family was in Saluda to support Christchurch school sailing team who was hosting the Virginia State Championships. This lovely home is walking distance from the Christchurch school waterfront. The location is very private and has an incredible waterfront vista! We really enjoyed listening to the winds thru the white pines and the waves lapping on the beach! The house is very welcoming and clean. The kids enjoyed the partially finished basement with ping pong table. We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: Loved the views and property. Justin was easy to reach with any questions that arose. House is well equipped and nicely furnished with loads to do when not enjoying the private beach. Our only issues were the locked thermostat control (we are cold sleepers that usually sleep at 68) and lack of light blocking shades so we were up at 530 (suggest packing and eye mask), but on the flipside, we got to see each gorgeous sunrise.;-) I’d also take a portable speaker for our next visit as surprisingly, there is not a sound system for music. The yard is huge and our dogs had a ball chasing frisbees and tennis balls along with swimming in soft sandy bottom river. Great spot!!! The soaking tub in the master. bath is huge and a perfect escape after a long day of play!
