Summary: As we live in 2 different cities and 3 different homes, this was a wonderful way to meet. We really like the friendliness of Rhode Islanders and its maritime settings. Our hosts were very helpful and the house well cared for in general but I wish they'd been more insistent in their notices on the fact that the house is 4 stories high, as we had two small children who were dragged up the stairs for naps and bedtime. And of course the terror of one of them getting to the stairs. We enjoyed being up at the top of the house; also found the kitchen pretty handy (appliances all working, etc) though it's a shame about the large island that cut it in half. The rug up there in the dining area was slippery and (we didn't mind but just FYI) a lot of the tiles in the kitchen and dining areas are loose or cracked. Many bitter comments about the mattresses, overstuffed pillows, and the linens used on the beds, but everyone slept fairly well. We had awful weather--not the landlord's fault! Great house, not good for infants, and probably not great for winter weather either.

Summary: What a comfortable lovely home. We had a cold, cloudy day and the living room was warm and cozy and we were able to play cards and games and be together comfortably and enjoy the time. Everyone enjoyed the home, the beds were cozy and towels were nice and bathrooms were sparkly and nice. Appliances were all new and kitchen had spices and other nice extras that most rentals don't have. I really hope we can come back; this was a treasure.

Summary: I bought my family for our annual trip to Narragansett. The house was perfectly located. Walking distance to the beach and a short walk down the beach to the jetty and views of Point Judith Lighthouse. It was the perfect spot to watch the sunset. It was also very quiet. Short car ride into town as well.

Summary: 3.5 stars. In a great location. The property is lovely. For the price charged, we would have liked more attention to detail. A small example, the listing said there would be some k-cups available for the coffee maker. They weren't there when we arrived. Upon messaging the host to see if they were hidden somewhere, she said, "No, the cleaning crew probably forgot to tell us they ran out." She said there was ground coffee in the pantry. We had issues with guest bathroom plumbing. There was a whistling through the pipes when flushing or showering in one of the bathrooms. We just dealt with it so didn't call. On the last full day, that same bathroom intermittently stopped flushing. We did let the host know, and she was apologetic and offered to send someone out, but as it was the last day, we declined because there were two other bathrooms. The kitchen floor tiles have cracks and are a bit wobbly. There was evidence around the house that the cleaning crew isn’t thorough. The deck table and the deck underneath the table were dirty. There were old contact lenses left on a bedside table and there was some mold around kitchen faucet. Having said all that, we had a good time on Point Judith and in the area.

Summary: Plenty of room to spread out for two families (9 people total). The kitchen was well stocked with all manner of plates, cookware, glasses, etc. The deck was a great place for meals and relaxing with an expansive view. Easy walk to beach, house was stocked with plenty of beach chairs and beach toys (great for kids). Would absolutely return for another stay.

Summary: Great location, pretty house. Kitchen is on the third floor so bringing all the food upstairs is a work out. The kitchen floor is the only thing that needs work. Many of the tiles are broken. In all a good vacation home.
