3 Bedroom Cabin in Grand Rapids

Fall:
Grouse and other small game base camp for hunting. Utilize the extensive trail systems within Itasca County and get your bird limit.
Winter:
Start booking now for the snowmobile season as the calendar starts opening up for our next exciting season of snow and cold!!!
Spring:
Spend your fishing opener in the land of one thousand lakes! Fishing this time of the year is at it's best. Plenty of room to park your boat and trailer. Bring an extension cord to easily charge your boat battery.
Summer:
Minutes drive to many small and secluded beaches with pristine water. Although we are not on the lake, the cabin is minutes away from the boat landing and a multitude of great fishing lakes with a variety of species from walleye, northern pike, bass, crappie, bluegill, perch and pumpkinseed sunfish.
Year round base camp:
Great northwoods experience right next door to excellent fishing. Within reasonable drive to Lake Winnibigoshish, Bowstring and other great walleye lakes. The cabin is very private and best for outdoor enthusiasts looking to unplug, explore the woods and ideal base camp for fishermen, year round.
Walk out the front door, head down the driveway and access trails for hiking, snowmobiling, atv or short drive to Wabana Trail used for hiking and cross country skiing. Itasca County adopted an ordinance to allow operation of all terrain vehicles (ATV) on county roads. Great place to ride and explore the Chippewa National Forest.
The cabin has no central air conditioning but one window air conditioner in the master bedroom. The cabin stays quite cool naturally tucked away in the woods. The cabin has many ceiling fans, dehumidifier and big windows for circulation. Anyone with health conditions that rely on having air conditioning would not be paired well with our listing.
1 pet dog is welcome with written permission before booking.

Summary: Loved everything about this stay. It was quiet, amazing firefly show, stargazing and lots of space outside for our dog to run. Little touches meant a lot. Music playing when we walked into the rental gave it an immediate homey atmosphere. We had everything we needed for a weekend away from crowds, sirens and light pollution. Highly recommend a stay if your looking for peace and quiet.

Summary: The property was comfortable, clean, cozy. The master had a large bed and it’s own bathroom. The second bedroom had an air mattress on the floor but it was comfortable. The second bathroom was more than adequate but across the hall. The kitchen had enough utensils and cookware to get the job done. The owner was so very responsible to every inquiry clarify Ed immediately. If you’re looking for some mole accomadations in a quiet environment away from hustle and bustle, this is it.

Summary: Very cute, clean, and quiet little house nestled back into the woods, the hostess was very thorough and checked in to see if we needed anything. Close access to several great fishing lakes and plenty of room for a boat to park. We will be back!
