Summary: Standing inside the cottage, looking out through the windows, you feel as if you’re in the prow of a ship, directly on the water. It offers stunning views of the sea, the rocks, outgoing ships and fishing boats, and the property itself. Inside, the cottage offers all the coziness, compactness, and ingenuity of a ship’s cabin. Really wonderful space and property. Chrissy gave us a good introduction to the property before our arrival, and was very accommodating when we asked to extend our stay. (We didn’t want to leave!) Since we have family in the area—and Jamestown is beautiful—we hope to return to this little cabin.

Summary: This little cottage overlooking the sea exceeded all of our get-a-way dreams! This is what VRBO and Air B&B should want all of their spots to be! Don’t just stay there, live there, wow...we only wish!!!! We loved everything from the cottage that just like another guest described...felt just like looking out the windows of a little boat...to the firepit, fireplace/heater, and views beyond words describing!!! LOVED it all! Private, overlooking the water as the boats cruise by...sun beaming...water lapping on the rocks below all day and night. We stayed Nov 2020 and loved every minute. To owners thank you so much for sharing a little piece of your RI heaven with us! ~B&T

Summary: We had a lovely weekend on the water in this gorgeous property. The cabin is a small rustic studio without much room, but the fire pit, water front and beach a short walk away make this a gem of a location for relaxing getaway. Newport is an easy drive away too!

Summary: Lovely place for a getaway. Lots of windows overlooking the water. The view looks across the water to Fort Adams, where boats head out of the harbor and in to the ocean. Lots of trails around the house, perfect for walking or running. Beavertail State Park is just a five minute drive, and has more walking trails and beautiful views.

Summary: Such a delightful surprise to get away from it all, so close to home. This little cottage sits privately overlooking the ocean. The view is amazing, just to sit outside, reading, listening to the waves and drinking in the atmosphere was magical. Unfortunately, we did get two days of rain, but the cottage itself is so cozy and warm. The bed is so comfortable, and even in the cottage, with the heater/fireplace, and the views of the mist on the water - we felt so warm and comfortable, as if we were on a boat rather than on land. This cottage has everything you might need, and is so close to great restaurants in Newport. I highly recommend this stay to relax, unwind, and just drink in the sounds of the sea and the views. Very romantic too.

Summary: This charming historical cabin sits nestled among lawn, trees and a bluff with stunning views of the ocean and Newport. It’s a truly breathtaking spot and allows for quiet time to read, paint, boat watch, inhale fresh ocean air or sit by the open fire at night and star gaze. The cabin interior has a simplified coziness. Queen bed is super comfy, a heater that looks like a wood stove, fridge and 2 burner stove we’re just enough to prepare breakfast and lunch without having to leave the property. Ideal location 5 min to Jamestown and ferries to Newport. We’ll be back for sure!
