Summary: this is a wonderfully authentic and comfortable cabin in an amazing location that is both forested and very private with beaches within walking distance, yet it is also walking distance to all that South Tahoe city has to offer. Communications with Lindy were delightful, helpful and considerate. We had a great experience!

Summary: Tahoe meadows is a lovely quiet community with a great appreciation for nature. Our family greatly enjoyed the neighborhood. The noise from the road was very loud on the weekend particularly (not as much during the week, but always a car noise - yet convenient to use the back gate to get to shops quickly & the cars are not visible due to all the lovely trees) & the house could benefit from updating, yet we still had a lovely time. The host was great at communicating and helped us resolve a problem we had upon arrival. She is so kind to let us use her bikes and the house is kitted out with everything one might need.

Summary: This was a great cabin for our summer vacation. This cabin has everything you need and is perfect for a family of 4. We loved the nice big deck where we ate many meals, played many card games, and enjoyed watching the rabbits and chipmunks. The kids enjoyed sleeping in the loft. The location is excellent. The Tahoe Meadows community has great beaches and daily events (softball, crafts, etc) for the family and was super fun. It's a close walk to Heavenly Village where we found a lot of great restaurants, our favorite being Azul, and the shops next to that had The Baked Bear, which was our favorite dessert destination (custom made ice cream sandwiches... yum!). The owner was wonderful to deal with. We are looking forward to staying here again.

Summary: This cabin was wonderful! We stayed for a week in July and before our trip was over we began talking about when we could come back. We were very fortunate and were able to return for some time around Labor Day. We're already planning next year's trip! Before our first visit, we were a bit concerned about noise since the cabin is near Lake Tahoe Blvd. However, the inside was very quiet, and the street quieted down at night. The cabin is located within Tahoe Meadows. This is a great place to go with kids. In the summers, there are kid activities (arts, crafts, s'mores, skits, hikes, teen movie night, etc). This is not day care, but it is fun things for kids. Many kids and parents enjoyed playing "baseball" in a meadow. The rules have been changed so kids of all ages can have fun without pressure. One of my favorite activities was chatting with the other families on the beach while watching the sunset. Each one was amazing! The cabin is a very comfortable small house. It has many of the amenities of a modern home -- microwave, TV, phone, etc. However, if you're seeking granite counter tops, this is probably not a good match for you. This is an older home with character and history. We enjoyed grilling and eating our dinner on the large deck in the back. Among other things, the kids enjoyed spotting rabbits hopping in the back. This is a special place for families. It's beautiful, peaceful, a short distance from the water, and yet still close to restaurants and casinos.

Summary: This was our second stay at this cabin, the last was July 2012. We are a family of four and love the accessibility, walkability and location of this cabin so much. The neighborhood is fantastic for kids, the beaches close and owners are just lovely to deal with. Our kids really love sleeping in the loft area, looking for wildlife in the neighborhood and being able to walk to Red Hut their favorite restaurant in Tahoe.

Summary: This is an older but very nice cabin, very close to state line, but secluded in its own forest. Hard to believe your in walking distance to 3 private beaches in a gated and very secure residential community, yet right next to bustling South Lake Tahoe. We kayaked, biked, swam, fished, and just relaxed. Then went out to dinner and listened to great live music. I brought my fishing boat and had no problem with access or parking, no worries about security. The owner is wonderful to work with, we will have no reservations about staying here again. And the fishing was great!

Summary: We had a FABULOUS time. We made the most of every blessed day. Wednesday, we drove to Virginia City and spent the day. Otherwise, we were in beautiful Tahoe Meadows. The home has everything a person could need and so comfortable. I cooked breakfast every morning and dinner every night except Wednesday. The camp supervisor is a super nice young lady. She had great activities for all of the children (and even the parents made things). The bonfire, s'mores, and talent show were all great fun, and we saw a coyote on the way home.
