Private, quiet setting with large covered and carpeted patio. Central A/C. 1200 feet from road. Very natural setting. Nicest part of the lake.. Excellent spot for camp fires overlooking the lake and shore lights. Check in Saturday at 2:00 and check out Saturday at 11:00. Turn key rental.
Excellent fishing in front. Small boats can be anchored in front but there isn't a dock. Slips are available for $15 per night at the State Park which is less than 5 minutues away. Swimming out front. Kayaks available for use. Large lawn area for lawn games. Lake road is great for biking. Everything for the stay is included..

Summary: On the whole our stay was great. The Chautauqua Lake area is beautiful, even when it rains. And it rained plenty; 4 days straight. This put a damper to our plans for biking and hiking, but our home away from home did not disappoint. We stayed dry while having great views of the low clouds, rain, the clearings, more rain, repeat, repeat, repeat. Thank goodness for the great internet service. The cottage was very comfortable. And we managed to have a few fires in the fire pit and see a couple spectacular sunsets. The vantage point from the cottage allows quite a panoramic view, both inside and out. This is definitely a wonderful place to get away to for rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation. Much thanks to Greg for being a great host.

Summary: My wife and I both thought this was our best rental experience ever. Our hosts made the week easy and pleasurable. The panoramic views from the cottage were fantastic. We enjoyed biking and kayaking. The property is very conveniently located close to grocery shopping, restaurants and craft breweries (my faves). We definitely plan to return here.

Summary: The cottage is right on the lake and is very nice. We were close to restaurants and bars and a Tops is 10 minutes away. The owners are very nice and accommodating. We had a wonderful time kayaking and floating on our tubes in front of the cottage.
