Summary: I traveled to the farm with a group of teens. We were on our way to see a show in Branson Missouri after sightseeing in St. Louis. We would stay at Sue's place for two nights. Sue is the perfect host. She gave my teens a tour of the farm and encouraged them to enjoy themselves. They absolutely adored seeing all of the animals and riding through the over 200 acres of this beautiful locale. The horses were gorgeous, and the newborn baby pigs were so fun to see. Sue treated them like they were family, and gave great advice about the area. As to the house, it was the perfect place to stay. The bedrooms were thoughtfully decorated and there was plenty of linens and towels for everyone. We cooked breakfast both days and enjoyed the homey atmosphere of eating together around the table. The outside was very warm, but the house had superb air-conditioning kept his cool and comfortable. Sue welcomed us to use the pool and to enjoy a bonfire by the lake. My group will definitely be visiting this place again! Thanks for a fantastic experience.

Summary: Me and my Husband were fortunate to find this property available for rent over the weekend and celebrated my oldest Daughters Birthday (33rd:) along with my 82 year old Mother and our three grandchildren. Sue and her Husband Stan are quick to respond , very accommodating and pleasant hosts. We enjoyed our stay in the county and being on the farm. The house is well equipped and very clean, plenty of linens and towels available, this sure made packing quick and easy. We were able to watch the approximate 2 week old piglets run around getting familiar with their "new surroundings", we counted seven babies, definitely a hit with all of us. The lake provided great fishing. And the beautiful views of the rolling hills and cattle are gorgeous. A lot of fun and a very memorable weekend. If available in the future we will definitely return. Summary: Me and my family of seven had a fabulous time on the farm, the host sue and her family were so wonderful! When we got there she had fresh farm eggs waiting for us! Anything we needed they were right there to help! The house was very cute neat and clean and the beds..sooo comfy! We had everything we needed from towels, bedding cooking utensils it was all there! My kids enjoyed the many animals they had on the farm including pigs, cows and sheep, they enjoyed exploring the land also. My husband and the boys went fishing in the one of two ponds on the property. The landscape is absolutely breathtaking! One of our best trips ever and with five boys we were not wanting for nothing. The host truly made us feel welcome and at home, we are Blessed to have such a great experience! We will be back!

Summary: This was the perfect place to get away and relax. Sue and Stan were excellent hosts, very easy to get in touch with and so quick to respond. It was a great time of year to be on the farm-new lambs were born every day. Our children, ages 10, 12, 14 and 16 loved exploring and spending time with the animals. The pond is just down the hill from the house and it provided hours of fishing fun. Our son was able to catch at least one fish every day! You will not be disappointed if you choose this property for your vacation. Thanks to the Kochs for making this such a wonderful week for our family. We were so blessed by your spirit of kindness and hospitality.

Summary: We spent our spring break on the farm. While many of our friends were headed to the beaches or big cities, we went the other direction, and decided for a quiet, relaxing, family getaway. It did not disappoint! Sue provided hay rides through the property (which the children loved). The pigs, cattle, horses and sheep provided plenty of family fun. We loved walking through the fields and stopping at the lake to do some fishing. The house was very clean and well maintained. There were black out shades on the windows, which provided for late sleeping. For additional activities, we went to Maramec Springs, Meramec State Park (hiked a trail) and Onondaga Caves. If you are looking to get away from it all, and enjoy a family farm, don't let this one pass you by! We would definitely return. We had a wonderful vacation.

Summary: My husband and I stayed in this home during a weekend kayaking trip. Location was great for the upper Meramec and not far from the Huzzah and Courtois, our favorite creeks. Only a few miles from Sullivan with lots of restaurants but a genuine country location gave us a great break from city life. Very nice home. Comfortable and clean. Well-stocked kitchen. Plenty of bath linens. Washer and dryer a plus. Lots of windows to let the sunshine in and watch the birds and farm animals. Enjoyed exploring the property with our Sheltie, breathing the fresh air and taking in the beautiful 360-degree views. Beds were very comfortable. Tv worked great. Had cell phone reception. Owners were friendly and fun to chat with - live on the property so are accessible. Their house was a good distance away and not visible from the home we stayed in so we really felt we were in our own private farmhouse. Did not want to leave! Can't wait to come back.

Summary: My family which includes a five year old boy and a dog went here for Labor Day weekend. It was wonderful. My son and husband went fishing at the pond and caught enough fish to keep them both entertained for hours. The owners took us down to see the new born pigs. We saw sheep, cows and pigs over the weekend. We ate most of our meals there - the kitchen had everything we needed. We grilled 2 of the 3 nights and had a bonfire 2 of the 3 nights. Wood was provided. My son saw more stars at night than he has ever seen. Beds were comfortable. More towels than we could ever use were provided. It was a wonderful, relaxing weekend. Recommend to anyone who wants a quiet weekend, away from it all. Town was less than 10 min away in case you forget anything.

Summary: Our host family made sure the house was supplied with everything we needed. It was very comfortable and clean. It is a convenient drive to town and the state park (which was lovely). Stan and Sue were wonderful and made us feel very welcomed. The one quality that I loved most was that the kids were able to play outside on their own and I didn't need to worry if they were safe. You can't put a price on that. We definitely would love to go back again.
