This property features a private disc golf course with 9 baskets, when approached from opposite directions you can complete a full 18 holes. In addition to the disc golf course there is a ping pong table, hoop shoot, corn hole, dartboard and an arcade game for your entertainment. Relax and enjoy the serenity in the saltwater hot tub.
The main house has 3 bedrooms with Queen beds, Plus in one of the Queen bedrooms there are 2 Adult size twin beds - bunk style. Three full bathrooms.
The apartment over the garage has a King bed, bathroom with a shower and a kitchenette with a microwave, sink and mini-refrigerator and a Smart TV.

Summary: We so enjoyed our stay we didn't leave the property. We had planned some activities in the area but decided just to hang out and appreciate this beautiful setting. The photos don't do justice to the setting and the house is spacious, quiet, comfortable with everything we needed for a most enjoyable getaway. Everyone in our group remarked how relaxing and enjoyable our visit was.

Summary: The Oaks property is beautiful and secluded. You'll have stunning views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams on your drive in. The property has no close neighbors and acres to explore. We often saw deer, turkeys, eagles, and little lizards scurrying about. We loved how many fun activities were available - disc golf with ample discs, corn hole, ping pong, pop a shot basketball, board games, large tv's, gas fireplaces outside, and the hot tub. The Oaks also is laid out in a way where everyone can have their own space. It's three floors, with a room in the basement, lots of spaces to hang on the main floor, and 2 bedrooms upstairs. The ADU provided an additional space to hang with bedroom above and games below. I was also grateful for the customer service we received from arrived. Everyone was very kind and helpful when we had a problem with the A/C. I would book with Arrived again. As a note for any potential disc golf players, it is a challenging course. We were there in late spring and the tall grass made the labor of finding discs not quite worth it for us. However we found an amazing and easier course not far away in The Dalles at Sorosis park.

Summary: The home and studio apartment are beautiful and cozy and very well stocked with towels and dishes and toiletries and first aid supplirs. High end appliances. Great communication. Accurate listing. Gravel roads a little scary in the dark and note if your go towards Klickitat you will lose cell service. The only cons are only one TV (more a kid con than a parent con) the house is 3 levels so not for someone not able to do stairs very well and set up is a little maze-like but all areas are very spacios with beautiful views. Hot tub very nice and spacious and appreciated the ease of getting the cover on and off. I would suggest some shelving in the apartment bathroom to the right of the sink. The basketball game in garage did not work electronically and could use a basketball pump but the teens had a lot of fun with it still and the ping pong and hair hockey tables. The new deck off the apartment is beautiful and will be an excellent addition once completed. For as many people as the house fits it would be nice to have access to more freezer space as the house freezer is small and we like to have ready made frozen meals to save time. Kids loved it and I loved it and will be back.

Summary: A group of friends and I had a wonderful stay at this house. The house was clean and comfortable to be in with lots of fun amenities to make up for the distance from town. We loved the disc golf course, super clean hot tub, and garage full of games like basketball, skeeball, ping pong, and cornhole. There's even a little creek running through the property that was fun to explore. This place felt like a great, secluded place to retreat and reconnect for a few days. One thing I wish I had known before booking is the distance from the town of Lyle. We drove 15-20 minutes from the town itself to reach the property, which changed a few of our plans for the weekend, but we still had a great time. There was very light rain for a few afternoons, and the roads to get up to the property were easily driven by a range of vehicles. The living space is cozy and a little tight if you intend to gather 10 people in the living room all weekend, but we are a close bunch and had no problems sharing the space and moving chairs over to all be together. I would come back to this place again and again. People claimed that the kitchen was well-stocked and boy were they right! I do agree that a big boiling pot would be a great addition to the place for making large meals like pasta for 10. Thank you for a great stay!! Round two is already in the works.

Summary: The house is off the beaten path - about a 20 min drive from the town of Lyle - bear in mind the last mile is a dirt road that seemed well kept, but may be challenging if there was snow. It is well kept up and has a great kitchen and has bathrooms on every level. The laundry machines were great and the hot tub was a welcome place to get into on a cool day. The grounds are rolling hills. Beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels. We didn't use it but it had a big soaking tub as well. There is a wood fireplace, but fires are not allowed. Great place overall!
