Summary: This place is managed by Vacasa, and if we'd known anything about that company, we'd have stayed away. In most VRBOs we've stayed at previously, it's been clear that the property owner used the property as a vacation house, at least occasionally, and so the furnishings that were provided were usually of high or moderate quality and there are enough of them for the advertised number of people who can stay in the house. Not so here - most of the bedrooms and kitchen equipment are clearly furnished using Goodwill/thrift shops. Beds are uncomfortable, bed frames are broken/squeaky/wobbly, and there are not enough pillows for all of the beds (and the pillows are cardboard-like). Other amenities, like provided kids toys, are also low-quality and/or missing pieces - really, the only kid stuff is the train table (which doesn't really have enough track to build anything, but has a bunch of bridges that you can't connect) and the playground outside. When we contacted Vacasa to ask about pillows and bedding (because the beds were only partially made in one room), we were told that pillows were the owner's responsibility and not Vacasa's problem - they made it seem like we were supposed to know that ahead of time? The Wifi sucks when the weather is bad (satellite connection, high latency). The TVs are decent but the main TV had a fire stick that was a total PITA to use and didn't have any useful apps installed that weren't pay as you go. Overall, I was not impressed with this location. I've had good luck with VRBO in the past, but I will be on the lookout to try to ensure that future rentals aren't managed by Vacasa or other similar organizations.

Summary: Vacasa management tried to blame us for ripped chair when we left, there was no damage and the outdoor furniture was old. We are senior citizens, or not teenagers.

Summary: Property clean and everything worked, however several things were missing such as facial tissue, extra toilet paper, paper towels, no coat hangers, only 1 extra trash bag for a 1 week stay, TV was fire stick, not cable, never figured out how to work that, relied on laptop for news. Bath towels provided were only 2 for each guest for 1 week stay. Tall grass in back yard, had not been cut in some time. Also no clock radio in the home, thought that was strange. Property was not landscaped and we had lots of rain, so mud was tracked into house several times. Also address provided didn't work, we used old address also provided and it took about 45 minutes to find property. We had a car and drove into local grocery store and bought these items, we thought they should have been provided.

Summary: I was in town for the dog show so this property was perfect being totally fenced. It was only 7.3 miles from the Toyota Findlay Center, so was very easy to drive. Basically, only used the master bedroom and the bed was comfortable. The hot water for showers got hot, but not as hot as I like a shower, but was perfectly fine. A bit confusing to navigate the first time as the GPS didn't take me right to the address, but the house manager talked me in. My first night wasn't the best as one of the smoke detectors starting peeping. It was in one of the other bedrooms on the other side of the house, but as everyone knows, once you hear the beep, you can't unhear it... I attempted to remove the battery, but it was hardwired. It was fixed immediately the next day. The only other problem was that the front door lock wouldn't lock when entering the code when leaving, so the house was unlocked all day. I never leave valuables, but made me nervous to come back after dark. I just had my service dog, a Doberman, search the house. All and all, this was a very nice home with super nice neighbors. It's nothing fancy, but very comfortable.

Summary: The house had all the amenities we needed. My kids enjoyed the playground and it was fun to see all of the horses nearby. It was nice that there was a high chair and other extras for the baby already there for us to use. There was a “mechanic” on site who said he was there to fix things around the property but he ended up staying the night and being there both day and night for the entire stay in the guest house. Since we weren’t given any notice someone would be staying there and it wasn’t advertised as a shared property, I gave it four out of five.

Summary: The home was nice with plenty of room. However they changed the internet password from what was provided so I lost a day of work. Also they said the trash truck didn’t come till around 11am but it came before 7 am so I missed putting the trash out. Other than that I’d recommend it just be sure to call about the password if it matches what’s on the modem because it isn’t.
