Kara Mia KD695 is a lovely 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom Port Aransas home comfortably sleeps 12 people. The 3rd floor offers a private king suite. On the 2nd floor you will find the open kitchen, dining room and main living area. The living room has 1 queen sleeper sofa. There are also 2 bedrooms on this level. The first offers a king, and the second is a bunk room for the kiddos; 1 set of twin over twin bunk bed, and 1 twin over full bunk bed. The ground floor suite offers has a queen bedroom, bath, and small kitchenette. Washer and dryer are located on this level as well. The ground floor is not internally connect to the 2nd floor. Access is by external stairs only. This home offers boat parking in the backyard. There is also garage access, with the second washer and dryer. Pool can be heated for an additional $75 plus tax per day, for the duration of your stay. Please request this when making reservation as the pool may take 24 hours to heat. Please be aware there is a Ring camera system, and sorry pets are not allowed.

Summary: Great location, comfortable, no problems during our stay. Only suggestion; the lighting outside is minimal, so it would be helpful if the stairs had more lighting so no accidents would occur. And motion sensor by pool did not work. Everything else was great!

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We all really enjoyed the home. It was clean and spacious. Any issues with the home were resolved quickly. The mother-in-law suite was perfect for my brother and his wife. The pool was great for the kids and the beach was not too far away. It was helpful to rent a golf cart to take is back and forth.

Summary: The location was good, close to beach access. Plenty of room for our family to enjoy time together and parking for 4 cars. Clean and functional overall. Nice to have a small pool. Issue with air conditioning in separate unit but Management was quick to respond and took care of it same day. May not work for everyone due to all the stairs and no elevator, but great for us. Easy check in and check out. Thank you!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we enjoyed our stay at Kara Mia. Management was very responsive and rental information was clearly communicated. We loved the proximity to the beach. We did not utilize the ground level living area (it was very hot and musty). The main and upper levels were perfect for 4 adults and 4 teenagers. I would recommend a little more careful cleaning between guests. Upon arrival, we found M&Ms candy on the floor of the main bedroom. The bed on the main floor was very comfortable but the bed in upstairs bedroom was a little worn/uneven. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. The kids enjoyed the pool and the deck is very nice in the morning/evening. Overall we had a great stay.

Summary: We had a great time at this house! Overall recommend this place! The pool was very nice. The washer and dryer are in the garage and the first floor apartment. The house met all our needs and has a really nice front porch. The first floor apartment A/C wasn't working until the second to last day, but we were only using it for laundry, so didn't give property management a heads up until the end otherwise I am sure they would have sorted it out. Overall, great stay and if this house was available when planning our next trip, we'd strongly consider staying here again. Thanks.

Summary: Great location. Pool was a huge benefit. We loved that there was a pool alarm for the back door- great safety feature. When we arrived, the AC was not working. The property management company quickly got a maintence worker and then eventually an AC company out to repair it. However, the room on the bottom floor of the house was never properly cooling even when we left- it wouldn’t get below 80 degrees (which was fine because we ended up not even using it except for the washer and dryer). Property was nice.
