Positive: There was plenty of space and modern fixtures. Good for a larger family group. Very quiet area at night and clean bedding, towels and furniture. Hosts were very communicative.
Negative: The mattresses were poor quality and uncomfortable. Kitchen was dark, Cooker hob didnt work that well. No bars/restsurants in the immediate area so I recommend you have a car.

Positive: Spacious living room, loaded kitchen, a small backyard, accessible to stores and restaurants (5 min walkable). Can easily accommodate 5 ppl. Good supporting staff. They can respond to your calls.
Negative: While it is overall a good place, there are no extra towels. I stayed here for 4 nights and five days . Certainly expected additional towels. Not sure if they are available with advanced notice.

Positive: The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac with families living nearby. It was peaceful after hours and early mornings didn't feel busy outside. There is a small convenience store 5 minutes walk away where you can get some basic groceries. Beautiful Singleton Park and Swansea Botanical Gardens are just a 20-minute walk east from the house and Clyne Gardens is about a 10-minute drive west. You can also walk to the beach but since we were with two kids we drove there. Paid parking is easy to find and if you don't mind walking a bit you can park for free on the streets but space could be very limited. We found this house to be very convenient as a base for exploring South Wales as most locations we wanted to visit were within 2-hour drive at most. We found a couple of wonderful mobile coffee spots in the parks hosted by amazing people and they always make your day. The house was simple, neat, and clean. We found everything we needed for our stay. We stayed there for one month and some things could be improved to accommodate a longer-term rent, but if you're there for just a few days this place is perfect. There is a private garden in the back and a parking space out front. There was a cute neighborhood cat that visited us daily and our children adored it. The management was very polite and responsive in our communication. We appreciate that our concerns were resolved promptly. We recommend this accommodation to any traveler.
Negative: We found the old spring mattresses to be uncomfortable for adults. I hope the owners will update them to provide quality restful nights for guests and bring this accommodation to a higher standard.
Summary: We had a great stay at the Singleton House.

Negative: all clean except bathroom which had some mould in it, Double bed had a mattress that had poor springs and you could feel the base, Missing basics like mug coasters

Positive: Location was good as we were at the aquatic centre all weekend.
Negative: House was freezing when we arrived. Boiler switched off, no heating or hot water. Kitchen window open (someone could easily have climbed in) fridge was also switched off. Mugs left on side one clearly unwashed and another with a large chip out of the edge. Once we’d switched the boiler on we tried to find the thermostat, in the end we rang the office, the girl that answered the phone could have been a robot, felt she was reading off a prompt sheet and had no interest in our dilemma. Once we located the thermostat we had to leave the property and go find somewhere warm while the house heated up. In general the house was ok but decor was tired in places. Probably the most uncomfortable bed I’ve been in, though my son said his was ok. Felt we’d been given keys to a house which had been closed down, very unwelcoming. When asked for my feed back on Saturday, I replied with what I’ve stated above but the only communication I got back on 4 occasions was that we had to be out the house by 10.15 on the Sunday or we’d be fined £25, make sure the windows were closed and put the key back in the key safe.
Summary: Disappointing, won’t return, wouldn't recommend.

Positive: The house is in a quiet area. The bathroom, the sheets and towels were very clean.
Negative: The apartment is barely equipped. There isn't even a tea pot... only 2 wine glasses (5 beds !) and if you plan to cook, bring everything with you, even salt. The windows are dirty. The mattresses have seen better times. The sofa smells. The shutters are fixed in a way you can't open some windows in the bedrooms. We tried to call the administration 2 days in advance to get informations about our arrival, but only reached the answering machine. We asked for a call back but there was no reaction. Then, in the morning of the arrival day you got a message to fill in a detailed form (with informations they already had) and to send in a passport copy. 3 hours before arrival time a friendly person finally called and asked again for your email adress (which now you had to spell via phone) to send you the code to enter.
Summary: not recommendable
