Awarded Top 10 Farm Stays by VRBO. 6 bedrooms, 6 bath, WIFI, strong cell service, private pool (open May 15th - September 30th), catch and release fishing (bring your poles), paddleboat, 10 acres of quiet peaceful setting less than 1 miles from town. This estate home has 15 ft ceilings and crystal chandeliers. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, waffle iron, griddle, microwave, 2 dishwashers, 6 burner stove, double oven and large fridge. Lots of cabinets. There is a dining table that will seat up to 14. There is a second table that will seat 6. We have the highest rated mattresses, high grade linens, tv's in all bedrooms. Bathrooms are stocked with towels, toilet paper and more. There are 2 grills, one gas and one wood, There are grilling utensils and we have firewood onsite. There is one queen bed in each room and 1 room has a double bed too. There are 3 central heat and air conditioners. There is no garage or basement for guest use. You will have access to 2 washers and dryers. We provide dish detergent for dishwashers and we have kitchen towels and dishcloths. We are 6 miles from Squire Boone Caverns, less than 2 miles from Ohio Riverfront park and Buttermilk Falls, and other tourist attractions and hiking trails are close by. We are 45 minutes from downtown Louisville, 15 miles from Ft Knox, less than 2.5 hours from Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Evansville, Nashville, Lexington, and 4 hours from St Louis. Close to I-64 & I-65. We do occasionally come on site to check pool and landscapers are on a set schedule.

Summary: This house was spacious, clean, everything it said it would be! We did lots of cooking over our 3 night stay & the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, crock pot & waffle iron, toaster, a very nice large stove for cooking, you name it. We had to run the dishwasher after meals, but there are 2 & we had plenty of plates, glasses, cups & silverware for our crew of 5 families. We swam every day, the pool was awesome! A couple people went fishing for catch & release & our grandson, who is 12, was excited for all the nice sized fish he caught. It was a great location, close enough to run to a store, but out in the country enough to be private. We visited Squire Boone Caverns one day & drove to Louisville one day, but still came back to swim the rest of the day. Owner was available for any questions we had & super nice. Great stay!

Summary: We were looking for somewhere to stay as an extended family to celebrate my nieces wedding. There were 16 of us in all! We found this property, enjoyed the pictures and descriptions on verbo, and booked! Best decision of the weekend! The property was beautiful and as described! The pool was amazing and two of my children swam over 10 hours during our weekend! The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out!! I would recommend this location to everyone who wants a relaxing getaway.. we also enjoyed the farm animals!!

Summary: Love, love, love this place! The owners are wonderful, the farm setting is beautiful, the in-ground pool is absolutely wonderful. There’s a fishing pond where a couple of my grandchildren caught their first fish ever! There are cows grazing, sheep the kids can feed and pet, chickens, a rooster (time to wake up!!), and the house is unbelievably beautiful inside (professionally decorated). We ordered a water bounce house and that was a hit and the owner was okay with it and we had someone who wanted to bring their new pop-up tent camper and set it up and the owner was okay with that. The pool is so nice. I don’t know if it’s heated but it was just perfect …. cool enough to cool you down, but warm enough to just get in! The kids loved it. My 87 year old mother loved it! We had so much fun! There is also a cottage with a bedroom/bath that is next to the pool. I cannot recommend this place enough and I am a very picky person, especially when I have 16 family members attending each year! On the way to the fishing pond, there is an electric fence to keep the cows and Llama in, so we called the owners to unplug the electric fence and they responded immediately. They live next door, I believe. So realize there is an electric fence before you head to fish!

Summary: Beautiful home with plenty of room for our entire family. Having everyone be able to have their own bedroom and bathroom was great. Kids enjoyed feeding the goats and sheep daily and swimming in the pool. While the kitchen was furnished, we'd have loved to have a pair of kitchen scissors and a liquid measuring cup. Since several in our group were children, we would have liked for plastic dishware to be available. Overall a good experience and would recommend the property if you're in the area.

Summary: Very nice home. Very clean! That is most important in my book. The most comfortable bed! Slept like a baby every night. Had plenty of household items. One thing I wish this home had were some rafts for the pool, that would have made the visit perfect! If you plan on staying at this home in the summer months and plan on using the pool you may want to pack a few rafts. The host was very nice and friendly. We were given a bit of history on the home which was interesting :-) Overall, very nice home and exceptionally well kept. If you are looking for a home for a quiet getaway I highly recommend this home.

Summary: My family and I (12 of us, ranging from 4 to 74) spent a week at this wonderful location. It was great to have full bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The location was perfect. Out away from it all but still close enough to things to go and explore. I would recommend this location for anyone, especially those looking for a place to descend upon with larger groups and the desire to be a bit chill.
