🌲 Welcome to Still Waters! 🌲
We hope you will enjoy our family camp as much as we do!
Come relax in our private lakeside cabin! Only 25 minutes from Old Forge!
Watch the sun rise from the large screen porch overlooking an open yard leading right to our private lake front!
Inside the rustic, cozy cabin, you’ll find an open floor plan downstairs, with dining space, kitchen, living room, and the master bedroom & bathroom off of the living room.
Above, is an adorable loft, which sleeps 3+, and is perfect for kids!
The kitchen is stocked with pots & pans, dishes, grilling utensils, paper products, coffee pots, tea kettle, microwave, toaster oven, waffle maker & large electric frying pan. There’s also a grill close by the cabin for you to use, and a fire pit by the lake, along with campfire cooking utensils. Drinking/cooking water is provided. (Tap is collected water)
The pine walls, wood stove, rustic Adirondack & Black Bear decor, give this quaint camp a warm and friendly feeling year-round!
Outside, you can enjoy hiking our private 9 wooded acres, swimming at our private beach, use of our kayaks, canoe, or paddle boat, fishing for sunfish, lake-side dining and campfires at night!
Rainy days at camp can also be fun! The cabin is stocked with cards & board games, kids toys & books, and family-friendly DVD’s. Grab a throw blanket and snuggle in!
Get away from the stresses of life, and relax in the peaceful, quiet, pristine outdoors that Forestport offers!
We are close by to many stores, take-out restaurants, bars, ice cream stands, golf courses, and 25 minutes from Old Forge! Come explore!

Summary: Wonderful area, extremely private and quiet. Cabin was cozy and had everything you could ask for. We were unable to enjoy the lake and fire pit because of the weather but enjoyed the wood stove. Will be back! Hosts were amazing. Reached out just to make sure we were ok because the temps had dropped so much!! Meant a lot to us!!

Summary: This site is awesome. Beautiful view of the lake, cozy cabin and all the amenities you’d be looking for, for a nice little trip. We enjoyed the fire pit, the canoe and paddle boat (provided by the owners!), and the front porch. Even took a trip to Old Forge as it is really close. The site is secluded and private. My fiancΓ©e and I had an amazing time. The owners are great too, very responsive, accommodating and helpful.

Summary: It was a two day getaway for our 30th anniversary and it was exactly what we needed. It has everything you need for a quiet retreat including a comfortable bed to crash at the end of the day. We could have sat by the tranquil water all day and night. I don’t usually fish, but the settings helped my mind get to a place where it could just relax and cast for just the little sunfish and perch…all the while my wife took in the sunshine from the passenger seat of the paddle boat. Not sure we would change anything…maybe just room for a few more family members… see you again soon. Thank you.

Summary: This was our third stay at this camp, which has become a tradition for our family. Listing is accurate and it’s actually quite fun - the perfect mix of β€œroughing it” and comfort. We love the loft, the comfy accommodations, the games, the family movies (which have been recently updated!), the peaceful lake and fire pit, and more. Thanks for the wonderful memories.
