Just 30 minutes from Mediterranean beaches, Villa Syrah has its own pool, garden and terrace. Built in an upside down fashion to make the most of the breathtaking views across the Corbières mountains and to provide light and airy family living space on the first floor and cool bedrooms on the ground floor - very welcome in the height of the summer. If like us you enjoy a rural French ambiance, where the pace of life is tranquil and uncomplicated, and if you want your holiday home to offer you the modern luxuries to help make your stay relaxing and comfortable our villa is the place for you. Close to the pretty town of Durban with shops and amenities, the surrounding area is rich in Cathar history, medieval castles, ancient monasteries and beautiful landscapes to drive, walk or cycle through. Autoroute 30 mins & Airports approx 50 minutes away. The unheated pool is available June to September and the summer months provide the perfect family setting. The early and late season are superb for couples who enjoy hiking or cycling through this lovely landscape.

Summary: We had an amazing stay here. It’s a beautiful villa which was equipped with everything you could need. Debbie was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Lots to do in the area as long as you have a car.

Summary: Nestled in the mountains this house was a great find. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the pool is very welcoming on the hot days. Debbie the owner was very helpful and attentive throughout the process and really helped us out. We were in the area for a wedding and she went above and beyond to help us with some difficult logistics. All the local agents that are used for maintenance etc were also very helpful and friendly and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this house to anyone, it's a gem! Thank you Debbie!

Summary: We stayed in this lovely villa last year. The property was maintained to a high standard it was spotlessly clean. The pool was a great size and the patio area provided sun and shade when needed. Our little boy loved the pool and the spacious house and outside space. Everything in the villa was precisely as described. The owner Debbie was very kind and helpful as was Jeanne the manager. There is alot to do in this region it is such a beautiful place if you are looking for peaceful tranqulity this is the perfect place. We would love to return soon Ruth and Family

Summary: A bright airy modern well equipped villa with a great pool and wonderful mountain views. Peaceful location away from the crowds but within easy reach of the coast and other attractions. Some great local restaurants too. Highly recommended

Summary: We all had a very nice time at the villa. The villa was beautifully presented, light and airy and everything you would need for your holiday was provided. The pool was a blessing on the very hot days. The village is very quaint and the wine cave is worth a visit .We had the pleasure to be there when they had a Tapas evening and it felt like the whole village was there. The area is very wild and rugged but only a short drive through some beautiful scenery to the coast and other interesting villages. A great villa in a beautiful unspoiled part of France

Summary: We had a great holiday at Villa Syrah. The villa was spacious and extremely well equipped - everything we needed was there! The pool was very welcome in the heat of the day and the surrounding countryside was beautiful - very peaceful. There was plenty to do in the area - some lovely restaurants to try, towns to explore and only about half an hour to the coast. All in all a great place to stay!
