Your own gate and private entrance open to 2 bedrooms & 2 baths, with many handcrafted features. Microwave & small refrigerator (no kitchen). One bedroom has a full size bed, bureau, and desk, w/ skylight and French doors to the garden. The second has a futon couch, chair, a twin bed, handcrafted bureau and desk, & a direct sunny view of the front garden. Feel free to read in the back yard or to take a swim in the pool after 1pm. To reach the 2nd bedroom, you need to walk through the 1st bedroom. Beach access is 3 blocks away and down a steep flight of steps. At high tide, you need to drive 1/2 mile to a wider part of the beach.)

Summary: Perfect location in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood and a short walk to stairs that lead to the beach. It's also an easy walk to Cliff Drive that leads to the stunning waterfront offering just about everything you need with gorgeous parks along the way.Mary is the perfect host and was available immediately for questions after we arrived. She also provided hiking poles which we used every day as we explored the trails above Santa Barbara and Montecito. We will be back!

Summary: Wonderful cottage feel, two rooms each with their own bathroom and desks. Larger room has garden view and fold out couch/bed for that relaxing living room feel. And you couldn’t ask for better location near Mesa steps quick access to everything.

Summary: The cottage was just perfect for our stay. The location is great! We enjoyed the beaches and walks in the general area but were also close enough to the main part of town to enjoy it as well.

Summary: This is great little 2 bedroom in a very nice neighborhood. Beautiful gardens in front and back. The owners are very helpful, yet respectful of renter’s privacy. I have stayed here twice & hope to stay again!

Summary: Three adults. Beds were all way too soft. We left early since our backs were all aching. Location is fine if you like walking in the neighborhood; 241 stairs in each direction to the beach (only walkable at low tide) or don't mind driving to all sites of interest. Mary was nice and location is fine but old. Needs updating but okay for maybe parents and small kids.
