Positive: Nice location near beach, lovely gardens, nice architecture, nice unit.
Negative: Despite having luxury in the name, it was really not much better than a smart new caravan park cabin. Details like towels and toiletries and blankets were very basic. The instructions for the lock box were wrong ( the lock box is on the door handle, not to the right of the door). The AI host responses are a bit rubbish.

Positive: The whole property is gorgeous and very private. The locations is beautiful and the pool and restaurant on site are really lovely. The room is beautifully appointed and decorated. It is very very comfortable.
Negative: The bathroom was not super clean. There was visible hair in the shower drain and the whole bathroom looked like it needed a wipe over. The room was dusty - the skirting and decorations all needed a good wipe over too. The air conditioners were a little tricky but the owner was very helpful in advising how to get them working.
Summary: We had a lovely stay and would absolutely go back. The cleanliness was disappointing considering the cost per night.

Positive: The Bangalay Villas. The management of the privately owned villas lets down the attraction of the complex
Negative: Overall preparation of the villa including cleanliness and stocking of supplies, including paper towels, tissues, cutlery and the inadequately made up bed, the bottom sheet did not fit the bed. The cleaners arrived at 9.45am and sat on our doorstep until we departed at10. It was a most unpleasant departure.

Positive: The Villa was lovely, super fresh and clean and a great location for families being able to walk directly onto the beach and a cute park for the kids. It’s beautifully designed, the Bangalay property itself is stunning and overall a lovely stay. Loved the games in the room too, thank you for those, some lovely simple family fun. The pool looked nice but not heated and full of leaves so that was a bit disappointing.
Negative: I booked for 2 adults and 2 kids but on arrival at 11pm at night, after being at a wedding I had to make the kids bed myself. With two exhausted kids figuring out the sofa bed, finding bedding and setting it up was pretty disappointing given what we were paying. The next morning we were happy to see the Nespresso machine but quickly found there was no milk, not even long life milk so had to wait for the cafe to open. Also 3 pods for 4 people on a 2 night stay was a bit slim. These are little things and the property is great but pretty basic expectations in this level of accommodation and would have helped us enjoy the stay more. Separately, and I hope the owners read this - booking through Air Tasker was an absolute nightmare! Please change companies, if we didn’t have the wedding so close by I would have cancelled our stay simply because of Airtasker. I have 17 emails from them and 14 text messages!!! For a simple two night stay. The level of identification they ask for and the completely unprofessional way they do it had me convinced it was a scam. Then apparently thier systems changed and we had to provide it all again. I will never book a property through that company again. You have a wonderful Villa so please find someone else to manage it if you can.
