Positive: Place was cozy on the inside and clean. Relatively quiet.
Negative: Although the inside clean, there were broken curtain rod brackets, blinds and door hardware left unfinished. I mean, why spend all the effort money and adverting of the cute decor and not invest $30 in new blinds and touchup paint? The outside looked so bad (dark exterior fading paint, mismatched/peeling paint and no landscaping) almost made us turn around and get another place to stay. The exterior was the complete opposite of the interior. Having a simple toaster would have been easier than using the oven to make toast as well as a little privacy hedge to block the neighbors would be a nice touch. The kiosk needs updating.. Some of the phone number are wrong. Maybe put more details about how to check-in (online only). Remote staff were king/professional, but this place is very inconsistent for the most part. Please use this as constructive criticism from a customer and business perspective.

Positive: I enjoyed the mermaid decor it was cozy, the card games and puzzles, the beautiful view of the canal, the different types of birds you see every day, and the fire pit table was a nice relaxing time and making dinner on the BBQ pit was good night.
Negative: The water, I'm guessing it's well water, that's why it's a yellow color. I did wash my white bathing suit, and even with the bleach, my suit had yellow spots from the water in the washer machine. I was disappointed, it was a new suit. Other than that, I was happy with my stay. I would say new fluffy pillow would be nice and maybe a new comfortable bed. The bed was a bit hard and not really good for your back and joints.

Positive: It was situated away from the centre of town in a quiet and peaceful location. The property itself is like the scene in Labyrinth where Sarah steps through a portal in the junkyard and arrives home in her own bedroom. What a contrast, you would never think this place was a mermaid lagoon from the outside. Once inside it’s like being by the beach, pale pastels and everything is mermaid themed. Just what I wanted for a birthday getaway.
Negative: Nothing major, trying to work out how facilities worked but trial and error 😂

Positive: On a bayou, quiet, restful, dog friendly, and secure. Not alone, but just right. Dated facility with the charm of old Florida. Would stay there again. AC was good & quiet
Negative: Needs a comfortable ezy chair with a lamp behind it. Needs grab bars in shower-bath to hold onto when stepping out. A bath fan exhaust is needed.
