Positive: I received a message regarding the check-in time, and the process was very straightforward. We arrived at the property earlier than expected and were fully prepared to wait until the designated check-in time. However, the host kindly allowed us to check in early, which was greatly appreciated and made our arrival much more convenient. The host was extremely lovely and went above and beyond to help us. He even noticed that we had a punctured tyre and kindly assisted us in getting to a local mechanic, which was greatly appreciated. The entire villa was surrounded by lemon trees, and with his permission, I picked a few fallen lemons to use in my drinks. Leonardo welcomed us with a bottle of Sicilian wine and provided essential supplies such as water and coffee. He was consistently kind, helpful, and very accommodating throughout our stay.

Positive: The property is beautiful and tranquil. The best parts of it are the stunning views - both Etna and the sea! The house has everything you need and it is very well kept and cleaned. The rooms are spacious equipped with good ACs and the yard is big and full of lemon trees. Leonardo and Nancy were very kind and helpful hosts - I couldn’t recommend them more :) Lastly, if you’re thinking “hmm, can I book this lovely place if I’m traveling to Sicilia and I’m not going to rent a car?”, the answer is: yes you can! There is a train station within 25 min walking distance and if you are traveling light (with backpacks) the walk is very doable (a small almost carless road in between the lemon tree gardens) and the train runs about once in an hour on weekdays and about once in two hours on weekends. There are also 3 grocery stores within short walking distance (20-30 minutes) and although walking uphill might be a bit tough if you by lots of groceries, it’s a great way to get some exercise and enjoy the stunning views of Etna :) Tho, we visited Sicilia in April, so if you’re planning a trip for the summer months, it might be too hot for the grocery runs without a car.

Positive: I have never given 10 before on any review, but this property deserved it. It well exceeded our expectations and made this short trip to Sicily very memorable. Travelling as a group of colleagues, we found the location to be wonderful, and really relaxing. The villa is surrounded by lemon trees and it is so quiet and peaceful, it is the perfect place to unwind in the evenings. Breakfast on the veranda was an excellent way to start the day. The bedrooms were clean and the mattresses were comfortable. Communication with Leo was easy, he checked our arrival times and offered his assistance at all times. He showed us how to use all the appliances and the wifi, he also gave us information on where to eat and shop. We would all definitely return in the future.

Negative: Everything was perfect for our stay. I would only advise to have a car to fully enjoy the surrounding area.
