Positive: The big pool is lovely. The hotel organised a hike for us up into the bamboo forest which was great, we had a local guide who was very knowledgeable. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Negative: The hotel is very tired, the sheets were a bit plasticky and rough. The bathroom smelt damp because there was no ventilation. We had an adjoining room and could hear our neighbours quite loudly. Had a feeling there were better rooms in the hotel but perhaps reserved for tour groups. The restaurant was ok, but expensive and as others have said because of the position of the hotel you’re kinda of stuck there unless you hire a bike to go elsewhere. To be honest should imagine there are better options in the area.

Summary: A bit tired.

Positive: The room itself was looking awesome. Spacious, stylish, well equipped.

Negative: 1. Bathroom Design The bathroom requires proper ventilation. Most of the moisture from the shower remains trapped inside and gradually spreads into the room, creating very high humidity levels. This has already caused mould to form on the ceiling in the corner next to the bathroom. With adequate ventilation, this issue would likely not occur. Another concern is the bathroom window. It is clear glass and faces the stairs of the neighbouring bungalow. While there are curtains available, they were open by default and it took me some time to realize that the window allowed direct visibility from the neighbouring building. For privacy reasons, bathrooms should ideally have frosted windows or smth like that. 3. Breakfast The breakfast offering was very disappointing, especially for a place that charges nearly £50 per night. The variety was extremely limited. There was virtually no meat available in the breakfast options apart from the Pho Bo, which unfortunately was quite bland and lacked flavour. There was even no sausage or bacon available. I have experienced much better breakfasts at other places in Vietnam that charge closer to £20 per night. As someone who follows a gluten-free (GF) diet, my options were particularly restricted. The only items I could realistically eat were vegetable fried rice, Pho Bo, and the small selection of fruit. 3. Restaurant Because the hotel is located on a road without street lighting, it becomes difficult and somewhat unsafe to leave the property once it gets dark (around 6 pm). As a result, guests are often limited to dining at the hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience there was disappointing. The staff did not demonstrate much hospitality or attentiveness. The quality was inconsistent. For example, we ordered ginger tea and received a full glass of a tasty drink. However, when we ordered it again, the second glass arrived half full. After that dinner, we chose to dine outside the hotel for the remainder of our stay.

Positive: Basic Rustic room ,good size ,bed comfortable, very good views , friendly staff.Fridge and kettle .Free bicycles, car/ bike rental shop 5 meters away , next to cafe that does packet snacks , and coffee )

Negative: No wardrobe just an open rail , no bed side table , no drawers.No mirror on room .No extractor fan in bathroom .No bottled water provided .Didnt think filtered water is safe for tourists.One dining room which is open to elements - need to wear coats when sitting down ( in November).Breakfast basic

Positive: Lovely bungalow, which had quiet private 'jungle' balcony and comfy seats. Fabulous rice paddy view through the other side, SUPER comfortable beds and lovely bed linen. Friendly staff, lovely pools, and great location.

Negative: Restaurant was lovely, food fine, but needed more local flavour, more herbs and a bit more variety. And be aware there are a LOT of steps, not the best place for people with knee problems.

Summary: Lovely bungalows, great views, friendly staff, good quiet location, loved the pools and views.
