Negative: Advised reception 20 March 2026 that door to the apartment was not closing properly and had been left ajar after room service. The latch was not connecting/engaged with the strike plate. I repeated this to reception on three separate occasions (separate days) during my stay - at the date of departure, 2 April 2026, the door had not been attended to/fixed and the problem remained the same. "Oh, the maintenance man hasn't been able to get to it get". Unacceptable level of security/safety. The situation was not given the correct level of attention or priority surrounding personal security/personal safety/property.

Negative: Complicated booking and check in. After booking online I received an email asking for the same details that I had already put in to the booking system. Then I received a separate text to pay. Then I received a phone call asking about the bed configuration I had already requested online. Then I received another email to pre check in. Then when we couldn’t arrive before 7pm because of driving interstate I had to fill out two emails for each room, send photo ID and call the facility, ten got further lock box details. All of this worked out fine in the end, but was the most complicated booking I have ever done!

Summary: Punthill apartments were warm and comfortable. Accessing the property to drop off bags is difficult
