Positive: Our family loved the relaxed vibe of this boutique hotel. The grounds are beautiful. The onsite restaurant is excellent for lunch or dinner and the breakfast buffet is substantial. We loved the added touches of a fruit basket for the room! The staff are super lovely. The spa whilst slightly more expensive than other options is excellent also. Several local options within walking distance for meals makes this hotel an great choice.

Positive: Candidasa was beautiful. While the ocean was under conservation efforts, you can access a little bit next-door. Still, there’s a beautiful pool with the sounds of the ocean as a backdrop. meals are taken in the upstairs restaurant where you can see the ocean. Rooms are good size and feel private. It’s a pretty property. There are good restaurants nearby as well. It’s far enough from the main road to not hear traffic. The hotel transports you to Virgin Beach and it’s perfect there. The staff was very nice.

Positive: If you're looking for a resort with a "traditional" Balinese feel, this resort would be a great choice. First and foremost, the service from all the staff is fantastic. Special thanks to Suledra, who is responsible for the grounds and gardens, he took me on a private hike to the Temple at the top of the nearby mountain. Also, thank you for the kindest service from Mudana, Sriata, Sukarya, Aryarthi, Mahdi, Purenami, the massage team, and all the staff who made our stay amazing from the time we arrived to the moment we left. Secondly, the grounds and gardens are beautiful, the traditional food and drinks are tops. The rooms are spacious, albeit, somewhat dated - but, again, they preserve a traditional feel which we very much appreciated. The resort has events though out the week that can help you learn about their culture. There is a dive shop next door, and the resort is located within walking distance to many local restaurants, spa's, and shops. We highly recommend Puri Bagus if you are looking for a traditional experience.

Positive: Relaxing and peaceful location in Bali. Rooms very generous size, staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and are incredibly warm amd friendly. Loved the spa and restaurant, prices are great and local cuisine is sensational. Walking distance to town with plenty of other options for dining out nearby. I would definately go back!
