This home is located in a very family friendly neighborhood in Altoona! Very close interstate 80 access for allowing quick and efficient travel. The home was recently remodeled and has a fresh and airy feel!
The home is a split level with bedrooms both up and down.

Summary: This was a wonderful location and wonderful for our event. It is definitely pet friendly with an exceptionally large backyard. We experienced minor inconveniences in that an outlet in the bathroom and a light fixture did not work in a bedroom. Summary: The overall condition of the property was less than adequate. There is broken lighting, the bed in the front room was basically on the ground, one can smell musty or moldy smells in parts of the house, the people who slept in the basement bedrooms all got coughs and allergy symptoms, the door locks didn't work, there wasn't enough towels and toilet paper for everyone, the fully stocked kitchen is not nearly fully stocked for cooking, not every tv had a remote, and one of the ones we did have quit working. The house just needs updating, one can tell that the work that was done was not done professionally. The home owner did tell us the people before us really tore some things up, and he did come over and remediated the towels, tp, and door lock issues immediately, but the place just needs more work. I get the idea that the owners haven't been in a job needing customer service or a hotelier business. However, the neighbor seems really nice.

Summary: Overall, really good. Great communication with owner. Inside was decorated nicely and was clean. Patio area was very nice. They may want to hire a better groundskeeper though. Weeds gave bad impression of outside. Overall it worked nicely for us.
