Positive: The home was great! The proximity to the water was special. The neighborhood is quaint and very walkable. The location between Salem and Gloucester is perfect and allowed us to explore the cape. The hosts had all sorts of literature about area activities available which was very helpful and appreciated. The owners live on the property and are very nice. Ŵhen we had a problem with the electrical grid, it was fixed immediately. ( Hint- don’t use a hair dryer in the bathroom and make toast in the kitchen at the same time! 😀)
Negative: The cleaning could have been a bit better. The microwave was not perfectly clean— crumbs in the silverwear drawer. However, overall, the home was very clean, especially given that it is an older home. The things mentioned above should not deter anyone from staying there and are mentioned only so the owner can have the cleaning crew pay more attention to those areas.
Summary: I highly recommend this property for a stay on Cape Ann!

Positive: Proximity to Endicott Tupper Manor family event.
Negative: No fold-out futon or couch for a second bed. The lone queen bed was known ahead of booking the rental but a futon couch would make us stay again since I snore and my wife and I need to separate during the night. We borrowed my son’s Queen inflatable bed and that made all the difference.
Summary: Quaint but dated yet had all one needs to be comfortable.
