CORONAVIRUS UPDATE - As the situation around the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we are doing everything we can to ensure the health and safety of our guests. We have implemented a higher standard of disinfecting all counter tops, surface areas, door handles, fixtures and linens by using chemicals that kill influenza and other viruses. The house has always been cleaned to the highest degree.
Precious little Cabin on the water that leads to Blood River, Tickfaw River, Lake Maurepas and Lake Pontchartrain! 2 bedrooms, 1 large bath. Very clean and well kept. Fenced in back yard for your children or pet to play along with a fire pit waiting for you to enjoy. (Firewood available on request.) Back yard is on the waterfront. Very convenient to restaurants, grocery store, washateria and etc. Less than 1 mile from Warsaw Marina, Boopalus/Public Boat Launch, and the popular Blood River Landing Marina-Home of the Tickfaw 200 Poker Run! Less than 3 miles from the popular Carter Plantation Country Club. Cable TV & all of the kitchen amenities of home including a microwave, stove/oven & fridge, with all of the dishes, linens, etc that you will need included. You will also have the use of a gas grill for outdoor cooking.
Front and Back porches with seating to enjoy the views.
1 queen bed in each room but can sleep more than 4 people with 2 extra single mattresses available to put on floor.

Summary: We loved it my has and and I with our daughter and grandsons. Completely stocking kitchen and plenty of room for pets. And I fell in love with the back porch. Had a wonderful time.

Summary: We had a great stay. The driveway had plenty of room for our truck and 22ft boat trailer. The pier/dock was nice with plenty of space for the boat. I would not bring any boat bigger than 22ft down this canal until they clear the storm debris. The house was super clean with tons of extra toiletries and anything you need. The a/c was super cold. The back patio is really nice. Friendly neighbors. We caught everything from bream, bass, gar, catfish, and choupic all off the back dock/pier. Very good communication with the owner. We will be back.

Summary: Sturdy, clean and comfortable two bedroom cabin. Nicely furnished and decorated , comfy beds. The fenced in backyard was ideal for our dog. The covered back deck is a very good living space. Good AC which we used in late December!

Summary: Due to a death in our family we had to make quick accomodations. The owner was prompt and allowed us to go in when we arrived instead of 3pm which was a blessing for us. My 3 yr old grandson was exhausted. The neighbor Dave is great also. Super nice and we loved the back yard. We will stay again for sure.

Summary: If you want comfortable beds, a place that is safe for kids and pets, a nice porch to have a cool beverage, friendly neighbors, and a dock to fish from, that's only about an hour from New Orleans, then you've found the right place. Convenient to the interstate, a grocery store with the nicest staff, restaurants with great traditional Louisiana fare, and a drive thru Daiquiri shop were all within a mile or two of the Cabin. The owners were friendly and responsive. The Cabin was adorable and true to the pictures shown. We were looking for true small town Louisiana and that is just what we got for a fair price. My only critique would be to have the window unit A/c's in the side windows instead of directly over the bed, if possible. The A/c units were excellent at keeping the place cool. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
