Summary: I absolutely loved my stay in Barbados! I will admit that I was expecting to have the entire apartment space to myself. However you are sharing the common areas and restroom with the homeowner. Even though this was a misunderstanding when booking the stay, it did not make any difference, I am actually very glad that I had the opportunity to meet and conversate with Ms. Hollingsworth! She was very hospitable, an amazing cook & lovely lady all around. Thank you so much for the experience and accommodations! A true Barbadian experience!

Summary: Carolyn is a wonderful hostess! She was very helpful explaining the local customs and traditions, as well as directing me to local restaurants and beaches. The closest beach is Brandon Beach, about 5-10 minute walk away and it's a perfect beach to relax and watch the sunset at. The room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom and kitchen were also. I had full access to the bathroom, kitchen with dining table, front porch, and decked out back yard. Carolyn usually goes to bed and wakes up early, which I didn't mind because I didn't want to sleep in late and miss the fun the day held! She is a kind and lovely person to stay with. I will definitely stay with her again when I return.

Summary: We had an excellent experience at Carolyn Hollingsworth's Guest House. IF there is an award for the perfect hostess it should go to Carolyn. She is a warm, kind, welcoming host who communicated with clarity, warmth, and a sense of humanity and humor. She picked us up at airport, cooked superb delicious meals, and generously shared knowledge about Barbados' history and important sites to visit. Her helpful attitude made it a true home " away from home" and the rustic charm of her home and front porch was relaxing and refreshing. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to stay at her Guest House. I recommend this Guest House - so close the beach and the bus into Bridgetown!
