Beautiful modular spacious 1260 sq ft 1 1/2 bath home with dock located on canal of Lake Dora. There is a fishing pier, a covered boat slip with lift, when available, several local boat launches nearby, and parking for 2 vehicles or one vehicle and boat/motorcycle trailer. Home is fully equipped.Discounts available for extended stays. It has a full size washer/dryer, full kitchen, 2 flat screen TVs, wifi , and more. Master bedroom has queen size bed, second bedroom has 2 twin beds with private bathroom. There also are is a sofa bed!
Come just to relax or enjoy the nearby activities of Mount Dora, Tavares, Eustis and Leesburg. Great location for fishing tournaments! We are also located about 40 minutes to Disney, Ocala and less than an hour to the beaches.
Whether you enjoy fishing, motorcycles, or cycling we know you will enjoy our wonderful escape.

Summary: The pictures of the home were accurate with the listing. Their dock on Lake Dora canal was a great way to sit in the sun and enjoy the Florida weather. Home was equipped with everything you needed for a long stay. We stayed from Jan 16th - March 17th 2025. The place is closed to shopping and restaurants.

Summary: Quiet neighborhood with the friendliest people you could ever meet. Minutes from activities in downtown Tavares and Mount Dora, while still having everything you need for a stay home vacation. Place was immaculate, hosts were responsive and check in easy even with my delayed flight! Planning another trip already!

Summary: Clean property. Older but taken care of. Saw alligators in the canal, tons of birds. Beautiful area. Took a pontoon ride down the Dots Canal that was beautiful. Just a very nice, safe area.

Summary: The view was great especially the sunrise reflecting over the canal. My husband and I are both seniors with joint issues. There were too many steps throughout the house. Step up from living room to kitchen, two steps from master bedroom to hallway to access bathroom, three steps to get to laundry. There was no attached bathroom for the master. The oven and burner on the stove did not work properly. There was no laundry detergent and no kleenex. The dining table was extremely too high for us to access as it was about 4 feet high. We will not stay at this rental again.

Summary: We wanted to explore Mt. Dora and all it has to offer. I choose this place because it was a short commute to Mt. Dora and there were two bedrooms and a screened in porch. The hostess met us at her property and explained how to use all the multiple fans and lights throughout her home. We loved Mt. Dora!
