Summary: It's a good location, with a cool bar (The Morrisey) attached, but the rates are outrageous for some real run-down, small rooms.

Summary: The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The parking situation was odd, they required offsite parking so you had to turn in your keys over night. The building was old, but you couldnt tell until you got on the elevators becuae the lobby was so nice and apparently recently renovated. Once we got off the elevators it looked and felt like we were in a different building, the pipes in rooms squeeked and groaned. The ac unit didnt do much for the constant humidity in the entire building. There was a club next door which you could hear through the wall all the way on the 5th floor. They had free breakfast vouchers for the place next door eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, cereal, toast, juice and coffee. They also provided meal coupons to tequila kitchen across the street and the white spot down the block, both were really good. The hotel is in great walking distance from much downtowns night life.

Summary: People were kind and the service was good. The building is very old and I didn’t like the area. Granville is a noisy street and there are lots of restaurants and bars near the hotel, I think it isn’t the place for a family vacation.

Summary: Perfect stop for our first night in Canada. The room was quiet and ths beds were very comfy. We were close to Stanley Park and had a great walk around the local area. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were able to check-in on arrival, even though we were a little early.

Summary: As someone who’s worked with Vancouver’s top venues and hotel partners for over a decade, I hold a deep understanding of what makes a guest experience memorable. While Quality Inn & Suites met some expectations — including a very polite, respectful, and kind check-in team — other elements left room for improvement. The room itself was clean and functional, and check-in was smooth. However, the second-floor hallway had a strong musty odour, and guest directions were unclear. I managed fine as a local, but international travelers may find this frustrating. A major drawback is the neighbouring restaurant — not affiliated with the hotel, but visibly rundown and uninviting. It visibly lowers the hotel’s appeal, especially to first-time visitors. Fortunately, the White Spot breakfast voucher is a redeeming option. While the front desk staff were truly welcoming, I would recommend regular internal team huddles to ensure basics like clear communication and environment standards don’t slip. Overall, it’s a decent stay for the price, but the property would benefit from tightened operational consistency and a stronger awareness of the guest journey — from entrance to exit.

Summary: Great central location in downtown Vancouver blocks from Vancouver House and the Granville Island ferry. We appreciated the staff being flexible with an early check in and free breakfast. The basic rooms are perfect for a short stay.
