Positive: The place is cozy, was smaller in space than expected but with a fireplace and place to bbq if you like (we didnt), the upper bedroom is smaller for bigger people and you have to squeeze to sleep, however not so bad. The place has everything to offer including a hob, mini fridge, TV (with someone's Netflix on), wifi, hair dryer, good heating system, etc. The fun part was to find out how to get everything to work. The heating rail on bathroom has a switch on double bedroom, you have to turn on the water and then there is a different switch for shower, and another one for heated water. The hair dryer was in a box, it was like playing hide and seek. Apart from the roads, because it in almost at the top of a hill in Bethesda, it offers a great view, good access to both Snowdonia and Bangor, and Menai Bridge, has a friendly neighborhood, and local experience.

Negative: We hated the very narrow road leading to the property and parking space, although looking back, it was an adventure in itself. If you are an amateur driver/have a big vehicle/have not driven in Wales's narrow roads, it will freak you out and I'd advise to avoid it. We did get used to it by the third day. We would have liked to have a conventional microwave to heat up take aways, there was a oven but was sparking electricity while using. One other thing we didn't like was the big wok was not compatible with the induction hob. If the host changes this into something compatible, that would be very convenient to cook things. I would also like to request updating the guide book to the property, it is clearly few years old. All in all,I absolutely loved staying here with my husband and my brother. Would recommend but do take notice of few things mentioned here.

Positive: It was a nice spacious unit, and having two seperate bedrooms was a decent quality. Price wasn't too bad either. As a city boy, waking up and seeing cattle grazing outside my window was a pleasant and surreal experience.

Negative: The lack of a human to talk to upon arrival wasn't what we were expecting. As a foreigner, it would've been nice to have someone tell us cool places to go in North Wales. The road to get up to the property was too narrow, and I was lucky I never hit anything or had to drive it alongside another car.

Positive: Beautiful location. everything provided. Warm and comfortable. We enjoyed the steep walk, down to and up from, the town - 15 minutes down and 25 minutes back up.

Negative: Very natrrow lanes and steep to get there. Not a problem if you're a confident driver. Maybe a bit steep to walk up and down to the town for a person who isn't fit.

Summary: I would choose this cottage again - great centre for Snowdonia

Positive: The view was amazing. Plenty of mugs, plates and cutlery. Perfect parking space which is much needed in this location. Microwave was good and has more settings. Beds were comfortable and nice lounge. Shower was lovely once you got the temperature right.

Negative: The toilet seat needs replacing as it doesn't fit/broken. The towels smelt clean but didn't look it and one was gray in colour not white. Get these sorted and it would of been 10/10

Negative: The managing company, notices confusing and hard to contact. Beds weren’t that comfy. Lacked little things, no tea coffee toilet paper. Packet milks were out of date. Very tight road.
