Summary: Reception was friendly and welcoming and we were located in a quiet part of the hotel. That was lovely but .... our room had a very strong smell of disinfectant when we arrived; it was overpowering. The bed was just OK but no pillows to suit a range of sleepers: all four pillows soft and quite thin. Window would not close. Living area was clean but the bathroom was awful. Soap scum in the bath. Both bath taps were loose and falliing off. The bathroom floor was sticky, with mouldy, dirty grout (def needed a good scrub). Shower arrangement loose and fiddly to use. Shower screen not clean and tired looking. TV would not connect to internet. We came here because it was cosidered to be 'exceptional' accommodation. It was nowhere near that, at least in this room (03B).

Summary: The staff were lovely, even be cleaning staff were helpful and friendly. It was quiet, my bed was comfortable. I got to watch Foxtel. Parking was undercover. All I. All a lovely experience.

Summary: The desk chair had a broken back support and was dirty/stained. The iron water tank couldn't close so it leaked when I used it. The occupants of the room next door spent the night coughing their lungs out making it hard to get much sleep.
