Positive: Stunning cottage, has a full sized kitchen, brilliant washer / dryer combo, 2 large beds and an amazing bathroom with bath overlooking lake.
Negative: The only thing that really disappointed us was that we couldn’t go out on the lake in front with a kayak or small motorised boat. The place is really screaming for it! It would have made this place a solid 10/10 if it had that.

Positive: Great location and I loved the high standard of the kitchen and appliances, also great to have a few kitchen supplies on hand. Lovely decor and the rowing machine was also a novel idea.
Negative: Would have loved some bubble bath, salt grinder and a pair of tongs.
Summary: Magical stay which we thoroughly enjoyed, thank you for sharing this property.

Positive: The cottage has a lot of charm, a very comfortable bed and an abundance of wildlife. Barnes Bay is very peaceful and the bay is beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils, crockery and all the essential grocery items needed for a short stay.
Negative: There are no window coverings on any of the windows. The windows are very large and I feel coverings are needed in the bedroom and the bathroom. The mat in the kitchen is a trip hazard. There is no sofa, the chairs are very low. The furnishings a bit too eclectic, and some in poor condition. The grounds around the cottage felt neglected.
Summary: Whilst the cottage has a lot of charm, it also is quite quirky with its collection of furnishings and bits and bobs. The

Positive: Tastefully decorated, spacious, private location, great fire place, excellently provisioned as short stay accommodation, excellent kitchen, the design creates a feeling of connection with the outdoors.
Negative: The wifi was not operating during our stay, there was no music device provided, no instructions on proper use of the fireplace.

Negative: Needs more cooking knifes Needs Blinds in bedrooms and bathroom Was underwear left behind a box at the front room, used pillow cases in the wardrobe at the front room too Having a good set of couches and a kayak or something to use in the water would be a plus
