This newly remodeled 3 story townhouse has everything you need for your home away from home while visiting family and friends, or traveling for business: self-check-in, great WiFi connection, an open plan bright and spacious living area with fully equipped kitchen to hang out or visit with family and friends. It also has cable TV, fireplace, king and full-sized beds and 3 bathrooms to rest and recover.
About:
As a traveler myself, I understand the importance of a comfortable stay while visiting family and friends, or traveling for business. This newly remodeled townhouse has all the amenities you need including: self-check-in, high-speed WiFi, a flexible and spacious working area, cable TV, en suite rooms with king and full-sized beds, fresh linens and more. The kitchen is fully stocked with essentials for cooking a healthy meal at home and the bathroom always has fresh towels and soap to stay fresh.
In true townhouse fashion, the entryway is accented with stairs that lead you up to the main living room and balcony, kitchen and guest bathroom. Follow the second set of stairs up to the third floor where you can take your pick from the master en suite bedroom with a comfortable king bed or the second bedroom also with a full-size bed and bathroom. Both bedrooms are equipped with blackout curtains for added privacy and comfort.
I'll be managing the listing remotely from Vietnam but I am always available. I also have a local host named Rachel who will be available for everything from local recommendations to any such emergencies during your stay with us.
The Neighborhood:
The townhouse is located in a quiet complex in the Murrayhill area. It's convenient location offers a variety of cafes, restaurants and stores close by to choose from.
Safeway is located directly across the street as well as Planet Fitness and a 24 Hour Fitness for those who want to stay active while here. Additionally, Starbucks, Walgreens, Five Guys, Cafe Murrayhill, McMenamins and other restaurants and cafes are all reachable on foot no more than 10-15 minutes away. Washington Square Mall is also located about 10-15 minutes away and offers a variety of department stores, specialty shops and additional food options.
Portland downtown is only 12 miles from Murrayhill and takes between 20 to 30 minutes by car depending on traffic.
For those visiting friends or family working nearby at Nike or Intel, it's about a 10-15 minute drive or Uber/Lyft to both headquarters and on quiet routes avoiding morning traffic.
How to Get Around:
We would recommend hiring a car during your stay at Murrayhill, to ensure you can access all of Portland and the surrounding businesses with ease. For those uncomfortable driving, Uber and Lyft are readily available in the area at all times. Public transport is available nearby, but to keep your commutes short and easy we would recommend traveling by car during your stay.

Summary: We spent 9 nights in this unit over Thanksgiving and found it very comfortable, convenient to our son's family in Beaverton and well supplied meeting our every need. The only caution is if you have trouble with stairs as you must go up one flight to the kitchen/living area and another to the bedrooms. Otherwise, you couldn't ask for a better place to stay for a personal or business trip.

Summary: The townhouse was perfect for our needs. t The hosts instructions were clear and easy to follow. The space was clean and comfortable. We would recommend Jennifer and her place to everyone. The worry about parking was a non issue thanks to the garage and driveway. Great find and easily accessible to all of the Portland area.

Summary: The place was very clean. Lots of kitchen utensils and appliances. Excellent tv in the great room. Nice deck.Elongated 1 car garage. Close to lots of great restaurants in Beaverton. I can’t say enough good things about it. I stayed for a full month.

Summary: We just completed our second wonderful stay in this lovely property. The perfectly equipped townhome was a perfect fit for us, as we were in the process of taking care of home contractor issues. We discovered a few more walking routes, which we enjoyed immensely. Grocery stores and just about anything one could ever need are within a short driving distance. This property is certainly one of the best we have experienced on VRBO. Recommend without hesitation!

Summary: We recently completed a 5 day stay in this perfect property. Everything we could ever need was generously supplied by the host. This home fit our needs perfectly! We especially enjoyed the neighborhood walking daily, even in the midst of a continuing April rain season! We have already booked a second, much longer stay in Jennifer and Rachel's lovely townhome! Summary: Really liked this place for it’s location , the excellent communication with the property manager , cleanliness and how well it was stocked for a long visit. Really nice comfortable beds. The property manager was extremely responsive to questions or requests. For those who have trouble with steps - this is your typical Portland area townhouse / condo - two sets of steep stairs. We are in our 60’s but managed to use them without too much fuss. The area is great for walking and biking if you wish. Lots of restaurants and stores in the area. You can walk to a coffee shop . It is a very quiet place to stay,. Enjoy

Summary: Immaculate and comfortable. Great townhome that was close to supermarket and could walk to Starbucks. You will need a car as it is located in the suburbs. Only bit of advice is that the stairs are steep on two levels so elderly people should be in good shape. Thank you!
