Positive: What a lovely spot! We visited with two kids (3 and 7) and used the office as an additional bedroom for our youngest (we brought a small inflatable travel bed with us). We appreciated having access to a full kitchen, W/D, and parking space for a rental car. (Bring your own laundry soap.) Hosts were welcoming and attentive! Would recommend to others!

Positive: This place is situated about 20-30 minute walk from a handful of cool restaurants and shops and is a short drive away from downtown. It has private parking if needed but is also close to public transit to get around. The apartment is very clean, nicely decorated and has a very welcoming vibe. It has plenty of room for one or a group of people and is equipped with all of the essentials including a fairly well stocked kitchen if you're planning on doing your own cooking. It was easy to access and lock up if going out for the day and plenty of privacy.
Negative: The beds are not very comfortable with very firm mattresses and thin sheets and pillows. None of the furniture in the bedrooms, living room or office is comfortable to sit or lay down on. Also the heat on the main side of the house where the kitchen and the living room are located did not seem to work. The heaters on the other side of the house worked fine but they were more like space heaters so if you ran them for a short while they were effective at warming up the room you're in but can easily overheat the room and then will quickly turn cold again once the heat is turned off. Overall the house was fairly cold so it was a bit confusing that the instructions said to leave the temp at 68 degrees upon checkout but we could not locate a thermostat in the unit. I am acknowledging though that we may have just overlooked it.
