Summary: We had a lovely stay at this property. It was well equipped and comfortable and set in a very peaceful location. You do need a car to get around although we managed to cycle a couple of times. We particularly enjoyed going to Vitre and Rennes.

Summary: We all enjoyed our stay in this little stone cottage. We spent most of our time in the kitchen, which is large and leads out onto a patio with a large lawn/small field to the right of that which has lovely views and is completely secluded. The owners are very friendly and my mother in law was particularly taken with their dog which is incredibly well trained and intelligent. Even if you were a bit nervous of dogs you would like this dog. The drive to Fougères is only about 10 minutes or so. Nice area full of fields of sweetcorn and near lots of interesting places.

Summary: We really liked the house. Beautiful views on the hills. Located in the countyside. The house has everything you need. We visited Mont Saint Michel (get there early!) Saint Malo & Dinan. All worth visiting!!!! Our dog also enjoyed the stay. The property is surrounded with a fence so he could walk freely.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was well equipped with e .g board games, sports equipment such as table tennis and lots of tourist information. The owners were extremely helpful when we had questions. We will miss Nais the dog and would recommend this property to other families.

Summary: I think we should start with - Fantastic!! The property was of a very high standard both internally and externally with the beautiful peaceful gardens and nearby surroundings It contained everything we needed for our holiday and the Gite was spotless. The owners were close by if we needed them, but they never imposed themselves. We felt very secure within the gated grounds, which still offered clear views of beautiful scenery, perfect for relaxing. Close by was the town of Fougeres where you could find all the shops you needed. Communication was very easy prior to our stay. Régine replied immediately and answered any questions we had. The homemade tart Régine made us was a very welcomed treat after our 700+ mile journey. Such a kind thought. Thank you again so much. We can not fault our stay everything about it was perfect. We will definitely be back next year and likely every year after that. Thank you both for an amazing holiday. We were sad to leave but are looking forward to seeing you next year. Parfait!!!!!!

Summary: Very nice property in a lovely setting. The house is large and very well provisioned, with plenty of different places to sit, eat, talk and enjoy the wonderful peace of the location. Although we don’t have children, they would love this home. It is safe and has a lot of space and things to entertain them. The owners of the property were very accommodating and made my family feel extremely welcome. Thank for making our vacation special. We all would love to visit again.

Summary: On the day of our arrival we were greeted by Henri and Regine. They were very welcoming and friendly. Regine had left some homemade pancakes and jam for us which was very thoughtful. The crepes were a delicious breakfast dish and we all enjoyed them. The house was super clean and very well maintained. It was really spacious downstairs and we loved the large kitchen. We cooked everyday and had dinner every night on the very peaceful terrace which had just been beautifully paved. The hosts were never intrusive and never imposed themselves. We talked to them a few times during the week as they walked past to take their gorgeous little puppy Maya for a walk. They were always available if we needed them and half way through the week Regine brought us a homemade Far Breton. We ate it in the evening for dessert and it was yummy! Henri and Regine had just bought a table tennis table and we were drag it onto the terrace and play whenever we wanted to, which was almost every evening!! The bedroom on the ground floor was spacious and next to the WC and the main bathroom. The other 2 rooms upstairs felt a little warmer but were comfortable enough. On the first floor there is a large sitting room with plenty of space and a TV. We played games there every night and had a great time. The house is well located near Parce and Javene for bread and Fougeres for a bigger shop and sightseeing. There was also plenty of parking for our cars. Altogether we all loved it and recommend it strongly as a great place to stay at. Thank you very much Regine and Henri to make our stay special. You really provided excellent customer service.

Summary: Our holiday at Le Basses Besmes was really wonderful. Superb Gite, beautiful location, very warm welcome from Regine and Henri. So peaceful yet only 5 minutes from Fougeres, our favourite French City. Tia ( our springer spaniel had a great holiday playing with Yala the resident dog).
