Enjoy the privacy of this cottage on a no motor boat lake. Cottage sleeps 4. Gradual sandy entry is perfect for children with deeper swimming off the floating dock. Very private at the end of a cottage-only access road. Location is 15 minutes from Bancroft with all of the essentials (grocery, drug store, DQ) and all of the extras (shops, brewery, art gallery, restaurants). No boats or boating equipment provided. Bring your own linens, towels, and dish cloths: there is no laundry on site. Bookings are weekly, Saturday to Saturday, check in at 5:00pm check out at 11:00am.

Summary: A wonderful cottage for a couple or family looking for a peaceful stay on a quiet lake. The water was warm in mid-August, clear and great for swimming and canoeing. There are some neighbors nearby, but everybody was quiet and respectful and it still felt very private. The cottage has all that you need and Lena was very responsive when we had questions. A beautiful spot to relax and unwind.

Summary: Everything was as advertised, very pretty, comfortable and complete. Though the town of Bancroft is indeed only 15 minutes away and the ~15-ish km drive was doable in our regular sedans, we were very pleased that during the beautiful but rough, narrow, hilly and curvy last several km we never encountered another vehicle, as doing so would have required someone to do some serious delicate backing up. For many folks that remoteness would add to the appeal.

Summary: Such a clean lake, my kids loved every second swimming and paddling around. and me being a nature buff oouldnt get over the biodiversity. No powered watercraft is the way to go! Thank you to the homeowner !

Summary: We stayed for a week. The water was warm and great for swimming, canoeing and paddle boards. The cottage had all the necessary stuff and Leah was really great about making yourself at home. The owner was very attentive. It’s a great vibe for cottage and we would definitely stay again. A really beautiful spot to unwind and enjoy summer.
