With wonderful views of the Mersey River we're offering you this beautiful apartment in the picturesque village of Milton in Nova Scotia, located near Liverpool, the former city of buccaneers. There is a fully functional kitchen as well as a bathroom with shower and washing machine, living room with a queen size pull out couch and a bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed. Enjoy a cup of coffee on your private deck overlooking Tupper park and the Mersey River, where the water level is fluctuating due to the tides. We are 1 hour and 45 minutes away from Halifax International Airport, 50 minutes from Lunenburg City, 1 hour 40 minutes from Yarmouth, and 30 minutes from Bridgewater. Only 15 minutes away from Beach Meadows beach with its beautiful sandy beach and 17 minutes away from the Summerville Beach Provincial Park, also with a beautiful beach. In the Kejimkujik National Park Seaside, which is located about 26 minutes from us, there are extraordinary plants and animals to discover for hikers. Our guests have even seen black bears there, and during the summer months you can also find seals that like to sunbathe on the rocks. Let yourself be astonished by the natural surroundings!

Summary: This is our first accommodation in three weeks of Nova Scotia. Heidi sets a very high standard for anyplace following. A beautiful and very clean apartment. Summary: This apartment is spectacular, we have never found a property that is so spotlessly clean, well stocked, and maintained. It was a complete pleasure to stay in. Heidi and her husband clearly care a lot about the property and their guests. I would send any of my friends and family here.

Summary: Nick and Heidi were great hosts. They even accommodated us 1 night earlier than what we had booked. Check in was easy and contact-free. All throughout the apartment everything was labelled (what light switches did what, turn the fan on while in the shower, caution hot water etc) It was very helpful! The entire apartment was immaculately clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need for a short or extended visit. A coffee maker and coffee/coffee whitening/sugar etc is provided, toaster, basic baking dishes/pots/frying pans/a wide assortment of cooking utensils. Heidi even provided a small basket with microwave popcorn, granola bars, tea and cappuccino mix. The bed was very comfortable. The living room was very spacious for the 2 of us and has a couch that lays out into a bed and has 2 comfy chairs. The outside deck was beautiful in the mornings to drink coffee and has a nice view of the park and water across the street. The bathroom was spotless clean, towels fresh and clean. Wash machine and laundry detergent provided, clothing rack to hang out clothes to dry, as well as a laundry basket and clothespins. The apartment is close to the town of Liverpool where you have a Superstore/Dollarama/Tim Hortons/Sobeys and lots of other stores for anything you might need. It has a nice walking/biking park just down the road which was nice to visit in the evenings. It is 20 minutes from Carter's Beach which has the most beautiful clear, turquoise water and white sand beach. We thoroughly enjoyed walking the beach. It was very close to Cuba water and sand, although cold! There are a couple other beaches within a 20-30 minute drive which were also beautiful. Keji Seaside is 25-30 minutes and has a great hiking trail that also leads down to a beautiful beach. Overall we enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. We will definitely be returning next year and recommending to all our friends and family! Our only note - the upstairs apartment is also rented out. During our stay, there was only 1 gentleman who came and went only 2 or 3 times and was not in the apartment for very long. We feel that if there was a couple or family in the upstairs apartment, that it could be noisy in the apartment below. You can also hear the hosts as they live in the house (through an adjoining door), but it was not a problem. They were respectful of quiet hours. The bedroom curtains are not blackout, so be prepared for a bright bedroom early in the morning.

Summary: We were very happy to find this little gem just outside of the town of Liverpool, NS on the Mersey River. The unit was spotless and very well equipped. A beautifully restored home with the original ambiance. The owners paid close attention to every detail - everything you need is there. Close to many beautiful beaches, small towns, and Provincial parks. The hosts were on site and very attentive. We highly recommend this lovely place.
