Summary: I think the property is in a great location and it’s nice and quiet. Close to New Braunfels and San Antonio. For the most part the property was clean, but there was definitely some room for improvement. I found the refrigerator and freezer to be pretty gross and needed a good cleaning. It would have been nice to have some smaller lights on the nightstands in the bedrooms especially for the evening if you want to read a book. When we got in bed we opened up the sheets and there was a bunch of blue stains and white powered spots on the sheets. This is something that could have been fixed as someone puts on the sheets because these were not small stains and very visible. As I was looking for the hairdryer on our second night I found it underneath the sink touching the toilet brush. These little details make a huge difference in my book and it’s what people remember. If you are renting a property you would expect things to be clean especially if we are all charged for the cleaning.

Summary: Being a pastor where and when I am able to take vacation or find rest is important. We loved this property it was quiet and peaceful, also very near everything we planned to do. My pup absolutely loved the horses and the donkey, by the last day she was copying the trots.

Summary: Property was clean and safe. Long term renters on site were very nice. My little one loved the kitties. King bed is very comfy, queen bed was a little harder and day bed was comfy, so lots of options for different backs. Close to many activities in SA and NB. Groceries very close also. Suggestions: window covering for kitchen window. Side tables in bedrooms (only 1 is in king bed room). Seating in living room is a bit tight for 4 people. Would stay again. Ty!

Summary: While we knew that this was a guest house in close proximity to the main house, we did not realize that walking out the front door we would be basically looking into the garage of the main house, because of this and how it was situated on the property, we didn't feel comfortable sitting outside because we didn't want to disturb anyone. Everything was set up very nice and my kids loved having their own room. I would say it would have been helpful to know that there were no dressers, so that we could have brought more clothes hangers, but this was not horrible, we just had not planned on living out of our suitcases for a week. We did not have any problems while we were there so no contact was necessary while we were there.
