The Adirondack Mountains offer one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. year round. Auskerada is located in the Adirondacks, and offers a great vantage point for exploring all of what upper New York state has to offer. Auskerada (Aus-ker-a-da), meaning 'the stream of many fishes,' is one of several Mohawk Indian names for the East Canada Creek. Auskerada provides a private and comfortable place to settle in, with a natural stone, wood-burning fireplace and modern amenities,including wireless internet,digital cable, and free statewide long distance.
The cabin has rustic charm that only a cabin can offer. Beautifully decorated with original Adirondack style pieces by the owner, Auskerada offers 3 bedrooms, and sleeps 4. A great lodge for a romantic weekend getaway or a top quality vacation week for you and your family. Relax in our year-round comfortable setting.

Our rooms and living spaces are elegant, comfortable, and inviting. Every view out any window reminds you of why you chose this cabin. The grounds are nicely landscaped in the Adirondack style and is perfect any time of year.
The inside is rustic Adirondack charm! Comfortable log beds and bedding with plenty of seating for everyone. Enjoy 'Pine's Peak' our screened in private balcony with only forest views. Our spring fed well offers the most delicious glass of water imaginable. After drinking our water, bottled water tastes funny.
The wood burning stone fireplace and mantle is inviting and harkens back to a simpler time bringing together friends, family, and acquaintances. The coffee is ALWAYS on us! Enjoy a fresh ground cup of coffee any time of the day. Inside you'll find a generous supply of games and puzzles to encourage quality family time. If being outdoors is your 'thing', a hiking trail right at your door goes on for miles or walk down to the lake to fish, relax on the dock, swim, or canoe with the 2 man canoe we provide.
It has to be clean!! Auskerada is a newly renovated 'upper-quality' lodge. We strive to maintain a very clean, and allergy-free environment. Therefore, we do not allow pets. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Also please keep in mind that for the summer we do require a five night minimum. Unfortunately at this time the website does not allow me to determine minimum/maximum night stays.
**NO SMOKING ON THE PREMISES. Unfortunately smoking guests neglect to be considerate when disposing of their butts.
Additional overnight guest are NOT allowed. In the event you add additional guests beyond the maximum capacity allowed you will either be asked to leave and your reservation will be cancelled, OR you will be required to pay additional $25 per night per guest and will be strictly enforced depending on the situation.

Summary: This cabin was absolutely adorable! I loved the candle burning and music playing when we got there. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We live close to this cabin so it was just what we needed for a few days away from real life. We would stay here again.

Summary: Beautiful and secluded. It looked just like a winter wonderland when we were there. Very beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Lots of books to read, which we took advantage of. The fireplace was a very nice touch. Very clean and well stocked with everything you need to relax and unwind. Great communication with Chris. We will definitely be returning!

Summary: The cabin is a gem. My girlfriend and I spent the weekend and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The property is the last one on a dead end road surrounded by beautiful foliage. We enjoyed the privacy it offered. There is easy access to a hiking trail and dock for canoeing a stones throw away. The decor was warm and inviting. We were able to make fire outside in the pit and inside with the fire place. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing on the evenings. The house was well stocked with supplies and even had a TV with digital cable. We didn't need for anything here. Dollar general was a few minutes up the road where we were able to get a few food items we needed. Chris was really responsive. We'd stay here again and again and again!

Summary: We walked into a cabin with lights on, soft music playing, and a scented candle burning. My first impressions were great. The overall cabin is wonderful, with great decor. It rained one of our days there, but we still enjoyed the hot tub because it was covered and the cozy fire in the fireplace once we were back in the cabin. We would come back for another visit.

Summary: The cabin was even better in person than in photos. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed all the great things this cabin & nearby attractions has to offer - hot tub, hiking trails, lake, golf course, ice cream shop, and restaurants. The upstairs screened in room was the perfect place to read and take a nap - it is a cozy tree house! We also took a day trip to Saratoga Springs. This is a great location to enjoy the Adirondack area!
