Summary: Flooring wasn’t finished and missing in some places. Downstairs bathroom had wood sidings just hanging and not nailed on the wall. Bathrooms had no towels in it, no soap in either bathrooms, no garbage bags inside the bathrooms garbage container, no shampoo or anything inside the shower. Bathrooms needed some heavy cleaning. Could see spider webs in corners and sealing. Bedroom sheets were dirty and had pieces of grass and leaves on them. Overall property needs some heavy cleaning. Views were incredible and very close to all good fishing spots.

Summary: Our family used the house as a base to enjoy local parks and travel to Niagara and the Rochester area. We appreciated the easy access to Lakeside and Hamlin parks/beaches. The check-in instructions were very straightforward and the host answered any questions we had ahead of time. At the house, the views of the local river were great and we loved seeing a bald eagle fly by and enjoyed meeting the garter snakes in the front garden. The kitchen had some nice extras for meal prep, which was appreciated, and a good set of pots and pans and dishes. There were plenty of towels available too. The Wifi code in the welcome email didn't work, but we found the welcome materials under a seat cushion in the living room and the code in there worked fine. We were troubled by mosquitoes that came in through some holes in the screens/windows without screens -- one of my daughters had dozens of bites by the end of our stay -- and when we tried switching to the air conditioning found it too loud to run while trying to have a conversation. A fly swatter and pack of matches would help things run smoothly. Overall, a good stay.

Summary: Our stay at this quaint country property was exactly what our family was looking for. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful water views and charming home. We were just a car ride away from most things we needed. There are beautiful state parks within driving distance. You can take a beautiful scenic hike, do some fishing or just go the the beach and enjoy yourself in the sun and sand. This was exactly what our family needed to unwind and recharge. We will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future.
