We are fully licensed by the City of Vancouver for both short and long term rentals. This gracious family home is nestled in the magnificent suburb of Quilchena, bordering Shaughnessy, and just a stones throw from the Kerrisdale and the Arbutus Greenway. It is close to the beaches and has easy access to downtown and other popular Vancouver sights and restaurants.
The main floor has both a living and dining room furnished with pieces from RH (Restoration Hardware) to entertain friends and family. A smaller TV room with a large reclining leather sofa and window seat is perfect for watching your favourite TV and Cable shows. A 55" TV comes complete with both cable and Roku. Completing the main floor is a large kitchen area complete with a built-in writing desk and a breakfast table and chairs. Upmarket appliances have been used throughout and include a natural gas stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, washer, dryer, toaster oven and rice cooker.
The kitchen opens to an outdoor patio facing the North Shore mountains complete with a BBQ, patio table and chairs and a large patio umbrella.
On the top floor of the house, there are three large bedrooms all with large closets. The main bedroom with queen sized bed has lovely views of the city and North Shore mountains. The en-suite bathroom has an above-average-sized shower and can comfortably accommodate two people.
The second bedroom also has a queen-sized bed while the third bedroom has a double bed. Both of these rooms have desks and chairs.
The second bathroom is a comfortable size with a shower bath, single basin, vanity and toilet. Like the main bedroom, this bathroom has city and mountain views.
The landscaped garden is carefully maintained on a regular basis and has a wide variety of trees, flowering shrubs and bushes. Completing the garden is a cascading pyramid water feature. At night, the garden is attractively lit with landscape lighting. Automatic watering is in place.
