Positive: We stayed in two quiet and cozy studios — very private, simple, but well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The place is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. Senora Idalina was an absolute highlight — she shared fresh fruit with us and proudly showed us the homegrown produce from her garden. The pool area is fantastic, with a stunning view over the hills, and the whole property is full of plants and animals, which gives it a lovely, authentic atmosphere. The owners also run a great local Piri-Piri chicken restaurant just a short drive away — highly recommended! We really enjoyed our time and would definitely love to come back.

Positive: Fab view. We had the chalet which is very private from the rest of the Quinta. Joao was a good host even though we were later than we said we'd be and he had to hang on for us (sorry again Joao!). These guys also run a piri piri chicken restaurant only 5/10mins drive and it's the best piri piri I've had so far. A good option for a few days exploring Monchique.

Positive: Quinta da Idalina is in such a stunning location, it’s so peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. The view from the pool is just beautiful and the staff are so friendly, we were given freshly laid eggs from the farm and freshly grown tomatoes/cucumber/peppers which were delicious. We had a superb stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Do visit the family restaurant serving chicken, chips and salad it’s delicious. A car is essential as there isn’t really anything within walking distance however this just added to the peacefulness for us. We would love to return one day.

Positive: We like everything! Cozy 2 floor room with everything you need. Outside there is beautiful territory with tables for breakfast, trees, flowers, goats, chickens, small garden with vegetables..you can spend much time walking around:)

Negative: The steps to the second floor creak, but it's not a big problem

Positive: I fully support all previous praises! We had a great stay at Quinta da Idalina. A wunderfull location and super welcoming staff (thank you João, Idalina and Daniela!). Highly recommended. Same as eating at their restaurant. PS: We already miss the cat.

Negative: Bed(s) where pretty small and not super comfortable. Did not negatively impact our great experience.
