Positive: It's simply magical. I want to thank Claudia and Tiago for giving the animals the most beautiful life. I didn't want to leave. So once again, thank you for allowing us to be part of this wonderful world. The hosts put a lot of effort into everything, and no matter what it is (breakfast, room decor, animal care, ...), you can feel that everything is done with a lot of love. We will come back.

Positive: The place is super special for all nature and animal lovers. Claudia and all the family were extremely kind and helpful with everything. Breakfast was excellent. The rooms are cozy and comfortable plus a lot of shared spaces outdoors.

Positive: Quinta das Caçadoras is a truly one-of-a-kind experience. I've never been anywhere like it. The quinta is a sprawling property where countless rescue animals roam free in harmony. Claudia and Tiago go about their business on the farm with endless love and patience, followed by numerous dogs at all times! All of the animals, from the dogs to the goats to the horses, are extremely friendly and relaxed. They truly seem to be living peaceful, happy lives together in their new home. The hosts couldn't have been kinder. Claudia picked me up from the train station, showed me around the farm, introduced me to her visiting friends, and let me help out with feeding time. We had great conversations and she's truly a magical person who has created a magical place. I highly recommend it for solo travelers who want to find both connection and tranquility! The accomodation was brand new and everything was spotless. Claudia delivers fresh breakfasts outside the door each morning and made me a special gluten free option. (There is a gate around the terrace in front of the accommodation so you can sit outside and eat without a friendly donkey sharing your meal ;)) I can't wait to visit Quinta das Caçadoras again ❤️

Positive: i never saw such a place in my life, we were welcomed by lots of lovely dogs when we arrived in the evening but the real surprise was the next day as all the animals were free around the farm, horses, donkeys, sheeps, goats, chickens, pigs…It is like living together with them as roommates so heart warming experience! We were expecting a room and we had a big area just for ourselves, with a hommock, games and a kitchenette with authentic, handmade, beautiful decoration. The breakfast brought in a picnic basket was so delicious and it was even adapted to our requests. And the most important factor that made us feel home was of course Claudia and her husband. We had such a warm welcome, we felt as if we were at friends’ house! She made us taste the famous moscatel from Setubal and she left the bottle to us as we liked it a lot! Overall we stayed only 2 nights but it felt like a long relaxing holiday, we will be back for sure!

Positive: What a lovely place to stay. Claudia could not have been more accommodating. The room was clean and comfy, I felt so welcome, breakfast was delicious and I could not recommend this place more highly. Just fantastic.
