Positive: The property is lovely, and the location is very convenient… close enough to Horta to easily drive there, and yet it feels like a small village atmosphere.

Negative: With the excellent reviews of the property, I was expecting other people to be there, even though we are passed high season. I was there for four nights and I was the only guest. It was a little too quiet for my experience to get top rating.

Summary: Very clean, totally satisfactory breakfast, excellent location, and responsive and accommodating Host.

Positive: After staying in 2 hotels in Horta town before, this a bit more inland location struck me with its quiet rural atmosphere. Plenty of places to sit in the property's gardens - where the wifi is good !

Positive: 7 min from the port. 15 minutes from airport. Very beautiful old house. Wonderful large breakfast. Very clean. Great service. Many places to relax. Outdoor patio with view of mount pico. Incredible value! This was perfect for us.
