Positive: We loved the feel of the house. It's an old house that has been remodeled but the old features have been maintained. Wonderfull bathroom with very nice shower(we only used the big bathroom but there is another small one with a bathtub). Kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances. We loved the outdoor space, very rural with lots of green. (Our daughter recommended hanging a swing from the big tree!) We would drink coffee on the porch every morning enjoying the sound of the birds. The pool was an absolute plus and we've spent many hours in there during our stay. The house is located on a deadened street with little to no noise except for some dogs barking during the day (don't think we've heard them at night) There is a small bakery down the road where we would get fresh bread daily. They also serve Portuguese pastry and coffee. Our host Carolina was very friendly and accessible.
Negative: Although it wasn't a problem for us, it could be for families with smaller children. The swimming pool is great but the edges of the pool need some maintenance (metal sticking out) Same goes for the fence around the pool that should be updated because of the wires sticking out and would not be safe with smaller kids. We've stepped on thorns several times in the gras around the pool. The mattress was a little hard to our liking (but that's our personal opinion of course and is different for everyone) and the beds are a bit small for 2 people. But overal we really liked it here.

Positive: The inside of the property was very good. Newly renovated, comfortable, well equipped kitchen, spacious, very clean. Very easy contact with the owner, Carolina, who was always very responsive. Good value for money. We stayed in the house because we attended a wedding in the immediate vicinity. We were probably one of the first visitors. While the inside was recently renovated, the outside of the house and the garden/swimming pool area still need remodelling work. That’s why I gave an 8/10, rather than a 9. This didn’t bother us because we didn’t need the outside space, but if you plan to spend a lot of time in the garden and around the pool, I would advise to check on whether the outside area has already been finished, because in the current circumstances use of the garden / pool is not really an option.
Summary: Excellent value for money. Comfortable. Good location. Need to check on state of remodeling of outdoor areas.

The instructions to check-in were easy to follow and Carolina was very kind and easy to reach out to at any time of the day. The House included all the commodities one needs (coffee, etc). Bonus, there was pool! Thank you for letting us stay at your place !
