Positive: Hotel location is perfect.
Negative: From the moment we entered the villa, I mentioned to the guy who brought us to the villa that even though it was snowing, the stairs should be cleaned where there was at least 15 cm of ice (where I myself slipped and injured myself until we put salt and melted the ice ourselves) . Upon entering the villa, beautifully decorated and designed. We were greeted by a prepared table with plates, but the question is where to prepare our food, there is a stove, but there was not a single pot. I don't know how that concept was designed so that we can prepare our own food, but we are not allowed to because we have nothing to cook in. There is even a dishwasher in the kitchen, but which dishes? Rooms are of medium standard, of medium cleanliness. There is an unbearable stench in the bathrooms that is present all the time. Basically, a beautifully designed villa concept, but unfinished. At the hotel, the staff is friendly and accommodating. The choice of food is limited. Surroundings of the hotel, stairs not cleaned, everything full of ice. Hotel, resort whatever, it doesn't even deserve 3 stars even though it has a pool and a spa center, the only place I liked. In terms of price, the villas are estimated. Not worth revisiting the villas

Positive: The villas are brand new, very spacious and have everything you need for a self-service stay. The staff (severely understaffed) went out of their way to help us.
Negative: Severely understaffed. For a property of this size and especially for the value for money, service is not up to par. When we arrived, there was no one at reception. We wanted to order room service a few times but there’s no one to deliver. We were with 2 young kids so this was important to us. Either increase the level of service or lower the asking price.
Summary: Can be better

Positive: We were a group of 4 that rented out one of the villas in Radika village. Overall, the experience wasn’t terrible, but for the money spent versus the quality and service received it was NOT worth it. If you are looking for a 5-star it’s not in Radika. First, we arrived a bit early, so it’s understandable that if there is no free villa we would have to wait until something frees up and gets cleaned by check-in time. We left our phone number and went to get coffee in the mean time. At the bar/restaurant, only 2 tables were taken - previous guests and us. There were 3-4 waiters, but it took one of them 20-30 minutes to stop chit-chatting to come over and get our order. Getting the receipt was just as bad. We ended up waiting until checkin time, to be given the keys. When we arrived at the villa, first we noticed half the villas in the village are EMPTY! So, why are you making us wait???? And if you think it’s because they were cleaning it, you would be wrong! There were dead insects and bugs around and inside the villa. It’s normal as it’s in the forest. But sweep and dust before the guests arrive. You can’t be a 5-star resort and hotel without the ability to give good service. What we did like about the villa: - Very spacious with pretty good furniture! - 2 bathrooms! And they are beautiful, modern too. - Great big balcony with lots of room to enjoy the weather outside - if you have chairs that is haha. - Beds are firm, but I like that, so it was great to sleep in. - Dishwasher and washing machine available. - Big fridge. What we liked about the hotel: - The Swedish spa..I heard it was renovated months ago, and it was good. They have 3-in-1 Swedish type saunas. - Free parking. - The lake view.
Negative: Some negative things about the villa in general to keep in mind: - The kitchen was underprepared with basic utensils and cookware. You can’t even make coffee. There is no gjezve, tea pot, or electric kettle. There wasn’t even a working knife to cut bread with! - Lights outside and in dinning room didn’t work. We even had a maintenance worker come to our villa by mistake and I let him know…did he come and fix them? Nope! - No outside seating table and chairs. - No hand soap, shampoo, body wash in bathrooms, even though they had holders for them. - Under construction villas and roads around the village. It really killed the vibe of the lake and Mountain View. - Wi-fi was terrible, but at least the router is there to keep restarting it. - Tv signal was bad, couldn’t watch anything. If MaxTV doesn’t work, change it! - Limited electric power sockets. You will find more power sockets outside the villa than inside. - Some of the towels SMELLED! What was bad about the hotel and spa: - Breakfast is hit or miss. It’s continental style, but not a lot of options. Don’t pay for it if you don’t get it free. The first day, they ran out of many things before it was even halfway through. There is only 1 waiter that brings in the food and 1 that cleans, so it’s understandable that they are slow. But it’s suppose to be a 5-star hotel, come on! Either be fully staffed all year long, or just operate in the winter. You can’t half-make it, expecting good feedback from your customers. And if’s this bad now, why would you be more efficient in the winter??? - The hammam spa smelled like pee and sewer! It was disgusting to walk by it. - The railings of the inside pool were completely detached from the pool. Multiple people almost hurt themselves trying to use them. - Not enough lounge chairs for everyone at the outdoor and indoor pools. - Hospitality from the staff is a hit or miss.
Summary: An overpriced villa.
