Summary: Bit of a mix up with the taxi when we left. Think someone else got our taxi. Then encouraged to take the hotel taxi which cost twice as much as the taxi from the airport to the hotel and not sure why.

Summary: We would certainly return to this hotel, this was our 2nd visit! When you have travelled for 14 hours on a plane, then there’s the cab rides the airport etc etc - it is so wonderful to know that you will be arriving at such a wonderfully welcoming, clean, efficient hotel, where the service is outstanding . If you have a problem, it is sorted immediately plus. I cannot praise this hotel enough.

Summary: They managed to call me once a day when I had a ‘do not disturb’ sign hanging from the door and they were aware of it because they acknowledged it when I told them over the phone!! A total joke. 1st call because they wanted to charge me for breakfast when I had warned them it was not included. They let me walk in anyway and later they call me saying they are sending someone to my room to take payment - I explained in 3 occasions they had interrupted my sleep and I was not opening the door for their mistake for not doing it earlier when I was honest and would go down to pay later. 2nd call to ‘double check’ I did not want room service (!). I said again I had the “do not disturb’ and he answered “yes, that’s why we wanted to check” (hello? Can you provide training to your staff, please?) It was a short work trip and they managed to ruin the little sleep I could get. Also the most ridiculous tiny glasses for water/juice for breakfast. I could not say any dairy alternative milks. They don’t inform everyone there is a la carte menu as well.

Summary: I booked a Superior Room with Balcony - Creek View, but got a room on the 1st floor with a balcony facing the creek and only saw an air conditioning unit, got a new room next day. In the new room the mini bar was empty and no coffee machine, even though it said it was included on the hotel page. Was told that I needed to upgrade the room to get a coffee machine.... The bed was very stiff and we didn't sleep well at all. The breakfast was not good and the service was on par with a 2-3 star hotel, often the food was finished even though there were 2 hours left, no glasses, no cutlery, limited space and difficult to get a table. Guests fighting over the table as people were not shown to the table, just walked in. Most staff were nice and helpful, but the staff at the entry were very pushy and rude at times. Telling me lies about Uber so I would use their taxi service. The Pub was very nice and also the restaurants Shabestan and Sumubiya,

Summary: We were warmly by their reception. There were 2 smiling gentlemen checking in guests and they were friendly and welcoming. The one who helped us was very knowledgeable and explained property amenities and features as well as upgraded our room to a balcony with view at no extra cost. The onsite valet was always quick to attend to us and remembered we were guests. My only comment for improvement was when we were checking out, they delivered our car rental with several large and obvious markings of bird droppings. Other than that, the location had a nice partial view of Al Seef and Deira Creek and the room was spacious and comfortable. Would recommend this place if you wanted a place near Dubai Airport and Old Dubai.
