Positive: Raflow Resort is an outstanding place to stay. The bungalows are beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly integrated with the surrounding nature. The staff are exceptionally friendly, professional, and always helpful, and the food is excellent throughout the stay. Surrounded by pristine reefs, turquoise water, and lush jungle, this resort offers a truly authentic and unforgettable Raja Ampat experience.

Positive: Amazing place, amazing people, and amazing food! We stayed 4 nights at Raflow and immediately felt at home. The location is stunning, and the house reef is full of life, we saw plenty of fish, cuttlefish, reef sharks, and even a cute walking shark that seemed to be a local resident! The resort provides fins and masks free of charge, which made snorkeling easy and fun. We spent three nights in the small room and were upgraded to a bungalow for our last night. The small room was perfectly comfortable, but the bungalow had a special charm: it’s more spacious, with a larger and more modern bathroom. The food was excellent: varied, flavorful, and of high quality, especially the fresh fish. We particularly enjoyed the lunches and dinners, while breakfast could be improved by even just adding juice. The resort also offers different excursions; we did the Kali Biru (Blue River) tour with the help of Dani and Sandy, who took care of everything. Dani was an amazing help for whatever we needed, extremely kind and available, and also offer transportation by car. You can also rent a scooter for a very reasonable price to explore the area on your own. I absolutely recommend staying here, it was truly one of our best travel experiences!

Negative: Raflow is not a resort, it is far from it. The breakfast was the worst on the islands, plain bread, fried eggs, jam, butter from shared, not very clean jars. Most of the staff does not speak English. The bathroom had a very strange smell, maybe some kind of disinfectant, and there was no toilet paper. There were three locals on the pre-arranged private tour, which was no problem, they were nice, but no one told me about this in advance that the private tour won't be private.

Positive: Very nice and helpful staff, good food. They can also help arrange trips for snorkeling or bird watching. Big rooms, air-con and fan 24/7. Many birds in the resort area also.

Positive: Exceptionally great staff. Property with great access to good house reef. Spaced out and Nicely set out grounds in peaceful natural surroundings. Standard of accommodation high. Fabulous beautifully cooked lunch and supper. Only open a year and still developing and will only get better I think. Staff will help manage your ferry transit and arrange trips to suit your personal interests.

Negative: My personal preference is for more emphasis on breakfast and less at midday however this is largely cultural. I understood after a couple of days that staff were more than willing to change things by request. I Should have asked 🤷‍♂️

Summary: Perfect and easy access to ferry.

Positive: Love the jetty clear water, song birds, scenery and sunsets.

Negative: Breakfast was limited and the quality and taste were edible but not tasty. Food in general was poor it could be upgraded to better quality and taste. We had red aunts problems in our room biting my toes. Every 3 hours had to sweep the floor with a broom to get the aunts out of the room and front deck.

Summary: It was a unique experience!
