Summary: The house is older and has some quirks (watch your head in the basement) but was perfectly fine for our purposes. It was close to main routes to get downtown, to the convention center, and parks along the river. We enjoyed the room to roam and saw the comet over the field and woods. Jacky was quick to respond when there was a problem with the furnace. Would stay again if in Hickory.

Summary: Went down for a week at lake hickory to prepare for a fishing tournament. Property was clean and the host was very accommodating. Parking for boat and trailer and in close proximity to the lake. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!!!

Summary: Comfortable, even homey. Immaculate. Not just quiet, but private. AND comes with a huge yard, a pond and wooded trails for wandering. Maybe not dialed in with the latest technology, and you won’t see any vaulted ceilings, but if you’re looking for a home away from home, here is one.
