Positive: Great location and easily accessible to many parts of Chennai. Breakfast buffet was awesome and the staff in the restaurant were polite and respectful.
Negative: Room service and staff at the reception need to really do better. Our booking clearly mentioned there are 3 guests, however room only had 2 towels. The first day we called reception for an extra towel. The 2nd day we had to do the same thing. Each time we had to contact the reception, we had to use the phone in the toilet as the phones in the room were disconnected. Furthermore, the wash basin was clogging and the hand shower in the toilet malfunctioned on the 2nd day. Overall it was a frustrating and disappointing experience as we had to contact the staff multiple times during our short stay. The staff should be trained to be more proactive in ensuring room cleanliness and whether appliances are working before a check-in. You can't expect your customers to do quality checks on your behalf. I booked Ramada as I was travelling with my elderly parents and thought we will have a comfortable stay. However, I was very disappointed with the overall experience and felt I did not get the value for my money. A five star hotel should ensure a five star experience - please do better.

Positive: We came to Chennai for a family event. I liked the accessibility of the location from the main road. There is a garden next door for an outdoor walk. The room was pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast options were also great. The staff were courteous and welcoming. The overall package was excellent value for money.
Negative: I struggled a bit with the bathroom shower settings. They were not intuitive. The toilet flush was not the best. The TV was not the easiest to operate despite instructions. Further although we had paid for a late checkout, someone from reception called when I was in the middle of an office meeting at 11am reminding us to check out, leading me to question their documentation and handover practices.

Positive: Superb location, very big rooms and bathrooms, extremely good maintenance and upkeep of all furnitures and fixtures. very friendly and welcoming staff everywhere in the property. My recommendation to everyone to stay in this hotel.
Negative: Breakfast needs a major revamp with regards to content and also perhaps the staff that is overseeing the process. I requested for a single shot espresso and ended up getting a traditional black coffee, which I requested to be replaced however the person serving me kept insisting that it was indeed an espresso. Nevertheless, a lady intervened and assured me that my espresso would be served shortly, but even after several reminders and wait, it never arrived.
Summary: A great hotel of Chennai, equipped to cater to all your needs.
